I am thankful for the Planet...a place of such diversity, such beautiful people, and the amazing friendships I have made here. Eternally grateful for the many levels of memberships afforded to us here I am.

I'm thankful for so very much. I'm truly blessed.

Although life can be incredibly stressful, I am aware of all the good in my life.

I have a loving family, something I am so fortunate for. We may have moments here and there but in truth we are so close. I'm thankful to my parents for the work they put in. My sisters and I are all extremely family oriented and it is such a blessing to know that no matter what - you will never be alone. Ever.

My best friends and chosen family, saying I'm thankful for them simply does not begin to cover it. They are absolutely amazing, truly. I could not picture life without them. There is something so great about having best friends that can turn to you and say... do you remember when we got our license? When we turned 21? Etc. Or, having friends that do not hesitate to slap you upside the head and tell you how foolish you are being... laughs. I adore them.

Then there is the woman in my life; thankful? Every moment of every day. I could not have asked for more.

Yes life is often difficult, stressful and frustrating. But I'm so blessed.

My children. Even though my boys are coming into their teen years, and I often have the urge to choke them, I love them so very much. They are intelligent, funny, respectful, well-behaved, and they love their momma so much despite me not always being the perfect mom.

My partner. Aside from my children, he is everything right and positive in my life. He pushes me to be the very best I can be, he supports me when I feel like a failure, and he lifts me up when I'm too weak to stand on my own. My rock. My shoulder. My beloved king.

Times get hard, I'm very passionate and very emotional, I'm not always an easy woman to deal with, or handle, but he tries so very hard. He never walks away from me, even when I feel he does at times. He is always there, even if some leash length is what I need, even if I don't think so.

He is my best friend, my guide, my confidant, my sexy sadistic lover, and I am so grateful to have such positive male influence in my life. He is an asset to my family and myself.

I am thankful for the ability my children have to open their hearts and their arms to him, giving him his rightful place at my side, even when they were always the men of my life, the men of the house. Their acceptance is something so amazing.

My life is absolutely amazing. Be the times hard to endure, or blissful and peace-filled, it is still always amazing, and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

getting a request to speak at a statewide conference for youth with disabilities :) i've been wanting to get involved with this conference for awhile but due to schedule conflicts i can't volunteer this year (maybe next year). but i will be able to do a workshop one day :) yay for finding ways around scheduling conflicts!

i'm grateful for this site, and for supportive friends. i'm grateful to have people to turn to when things are hard.

i'm grateful for activities that get my mind off of things. like gaming (which i'm doing tonight, yay).

We talked today of the things we took for granted and the choices we've made that "lead us where we are today". Although I didn't like to make the choice to move North to find a job years ago (to move away from the only home I've ever known and the only true family that loved me unconditionally), I am thankful I did because it gave me the starting point of my career in health care. I am thankful she stood beside me and supported me with the decisions and difficult choices I had to make. She understood why I had to do what I did.

She has always been there for me.... Even with all the bad stuff I faced after moving North, I am thankful I had those life experiences and many opportunities.

And today.... with only a week left in a miserable job... I am thankful that my life and career experience, common sense, intense drive to be a Leader and child health Champion, and my internal-encyclopedia of health care administration knowledge has lead me to another great career opportunity and the possibilities it holds. I'm not happy about staying in health care... but I am thankful.

This is where my life has lead me and I am thankful for those that stood beside me, even during the hard times and times I nearly lost my sanity.

I am so very thankful..for being in the "right place" at the "right time" today...and that HUGE blessing of a FREE tank of gas....WOW!!! All I can say is....how very badly I needed that! These weekly trips to doctors and hospitals...is really expensive...
I try to never complain and just get by on ALL the incredible blessings I have..in friends, kindnesses from such, and I am always, always so blessed...just when I need something most..somehow..it is always provided ...smiling thru tears here!!! A tank of gas is like gold ingots to me...so yes, I am VERY tearfully thankful for it...bless BiLo grocery stores and a Local Radio station...who were giving away a free tank of gas to the first 100 people to drive in to their mobile setup today....as I was sitting at the light very close by this location...on fumes...having just been out to a medical appointment....
The DJ interviewed me...on air.....gave me 3 free teeshirts..smiles...isn't it amazing how the Universe works....smiles...and you can bet I will "pay it forward"...one day!!!

being able to open up a business/dba checking account since one of the non-profits i work for made my check out incorrectly (they normally make it out to my legal name)
a bra that actually fits! i finally bit the bullet and got my friend to take me to the boutique bra store an hour away from where i live, where i discovered i'm a 38h or 36i, and i actually managed to find some comfortable bras that don't kill my back. i've never owned a bra that fit properly because i couldn't afford it before.
new nail polish.
my femme and fierce necklaces from rowdy baubles! got them in the mail yesterday :)
groceries.

all these are consumer-ish things and usually i try to focus on intangible things, but the feeling i had in the bra store...just...seriously. i could cry. i'm so happy.

It had gotten so bad I didn't even feel comfortable working in the front yard. Well, it DID have the most grass until they came along.


So thankful we're celebrating with a steak dinner tonight.

I am thankful for the fresh start that DamonK and I have embarked on here in Oregon. Leaving the stress and pressure of the house that was a noose around my neck for 8 years has brought a breath of fresh spring air.

I am thankful that I no longer feel the burning pressure of the debt that surrounded me in Missouri. I am still dealing with it but in my own time no longer allowing debt collectors to rule my life.

I am thankful for the job that I got after just being here 2 weeks. I hear with unemployment that is almost unheard of. I love it and the people I work with. I have never worked somewhere where everyone gets along and there is no cattiness. Everyone genuinely cares about each other and the work that they do. THAT is a welcome change...

I am thankful for the love that DamonK and I have shared for the past 3 years. Our life together is solid and wonderful. We are open to new possibilities in our life her in Oregon. Our relationship has ebbed and flowed and we have moved with it as changes occur. Even though we have decided we no longer see D/s in our personal relationship, we both know that we both very much value D/s in our lives. I look forward to the opportunity to spread my wings and seek a new D/s direction in my life. I am amazed every day how the fact that we lead a poly-amorous life together makes us both very happy.

I am thankful for my pups. I love my Peppa with all my heart. I cant imagine life without her. She makes me so happy all the time. When she is pressed against my legs at night under the blanket she keeps me warm. When she is "bonding" with me (aka pressing her head hard against my forehead) it makes me laugh and giggle. When she is being a sh*t as she often is... I remind myself how much I love her.

I am thankful for so many things in my life and am so happy I make myself sick sometimes... lol

Amazing, generous, kind, gracious, genuine, smart, witty coworkers who make me smile and feel valued every day ... Working with and getting to know my newest Consultant makes me so very thankful for her...and she makes me laugh every day.. ...I'm also incredibly thankful for the Nurses I work with, I believe they have 'earned their wings' and I'm so blessed to be surrounded and supported by such amazing people!! I can't imagine doing my work or facing my day without them!! The more I get to know about them, the more thankful I am.

I'm forever thankful for certain friends that always have my back.

I'm thankful for new opportunities and for being a fiercely independent woman.

After being a caretaker for many years while never taking care of myself... I'm thankful for finally making myself and my needs a priority.


Ohhhh...I nearly forgot.... I'm THANKFUL for pay day!! (especially since I only get paid once a month now)

If anyone had told me that I would still be so absurdly in love with my wife almost thirteen years after we met, I would have spilled my drink. But here I am waiting for her to come home, texting her the grocery list, and I honestly just can't get over it.

My life hasn't always been perfect, and I've made some decisions that were certainly not particularly well thought out at the time. Nevertheless, all of those decisions led me into her path. How could I not be thankful?

Although it's not my home, it's a coworker's... and I'm just a guest ... but thankful to come into a quiet beautiful home where I can detox from the day. It's just me here for now, with a pompom puppy and the pizza my friend left for me. Thankful I have friends that care.

I'm thankful for my 81 year old mother who said, when I told her I was transgender, "tell me more about it", in a tone of voice that was accepting and willing to learn. Today she told me she loved me and thanked me for taking care of her. It is the little things like a thank you, a tone of voice, telling someone you love them that makes the tough stuff easier to handle. I am very lucky to have a supportive family.

Very thankful for friends that always stand by me and never leave my side. Extremely thankful for the friend that took me to the hospital and never left me, then took me home caring for my every need. It's chosen friends that have become family. It's those family members that have touched my life and taught me what compassion is.

I am very thankful that everyone in my family is healthy. Watching a friend go through a tremendous health scare with his wife has made my partner and I both feel extra blessed.

You never know how truly blessed you are until you are faced with a potentially life threatening health issue.

I am very thankful that this week has went smoothly. I am also thankful that my parents and Ginger are doing well even though I am not at home to care for them. The week is quickly coming to a close and all has been wonderful. I am thankful for my privilege of being able to receive a very good education from people who teach because the subject and teaching are both passions of theirs. I am blessed to have wonderful classmates and the ability to pick up on the material very quickly. Most of all I am thankful that my practicum site finally settled the agreement with the college and I begin my hours on Monday or Tuesday. I return the car rental on Monday morning, but this trip has been fabulous. I am truly blessed and thankful for it ALL.
