2 More days til my PATS play! I am hoping for a blowout, however, I will settle for a win.

I just want to point out that the NFL QUICKLY announced the story regarding Chandler Jones smoking synthetic Marijuana or Marijuana but they kept the Manning steroid thing quiet for a LONG time.

Who here believes that a 38 year old, one who has sustained multiple injuries throughout his career, could "natuarally" heal that quickly? If you do believe that, I have this bridge to sell you

Where is the outage there? If this was Tom Brady, everyone would be jumping all over this and calling him a "cheater" for taking steroids

Another exciting weekend of football coming up.

Hoping the Patriots do well against the hottest team in the NFL but would feel more comfortable if Gronk and Edelman were not still listed as questionable. Have faith in Brady but he needs receivers.

The injury report for all 4 games is making a fantasy lineup a nightmare.

It has nothing to do with greatness, I am talking about the same old teams year after year and yes I am even talking about my beloved Cowboys. I like a mix up of things. But you can't help what team sucks and what team doesn't in a season.

Glad the Patriots had their key players back and everyone looked in sync out there.

If the Chiefs had a healthy Maclin, Ware, and better time management, the outcome could have been much different. They have some awesome youngsters who will make them a force to contend with in the future, particularly that Conley guy.

The Packers-Cardinals game had me pacing in front of the tv. Packers did better than I thought without their key players on the field. Jeff Janis and Jared Abbrederis (who they?) are probably the talk of the town in Green Bay.

The Cardinals looked off for most of the game. And then Larry Fitzgerald showed up. That was one man on a mission. For an old guy, he still has the moves, the speed, the hands, and the determination that wins key games.

Awesome win!

I agree. But I guess, why do they suck? Is it the coach? Is it bad draft choices? The Patriots have a great team but I know that didn't just happen.

The Pats piss me off too because we will trade out good players for so-so players after this season.

I think that, if you don't expect less than the best, you don't get less than the best.

I am nervous going to Denver and really nervous about the Superbowl... because we all know at least one of the teams that will be there.

I met a lovely authentic cheese head while in line then other day. We lamented about Rodger's bad year and talked about the sainted Brett Favre.

I am figuring a close game between the Pats and Broncos. However, given the trash talk that was coming from the Broncos camp this week, a part of me is hoping the Pats beat the ever loving crap out of them. :cheesy:

Well, the Patriots picked the wrong day to play like the Keystone Kops ....again. The defense did an admirable job to just keep them in it. We were out coached and out played.

Denvers defense reminds me of the Steelers of old. Big, quick, athletic, big, and did I say big? Congrats Bronco fans.

Didnt see the Panthers game but they are obviously a team fit for destiny this year.

Should be an interesting Super Bowl. My gut is thinking the exuberance of youth may humble the the wisdom of experience. Then again, I picked both games wrong yesterday. :|

a yay to the mile high team!

We both are rooting for a big win for the Broncos. However some of the bets going on over here...

Which team will miss a field goal?
Who class the first time out?
Which team will score last?
Who will score first?
Will it be tied at half time?
Who will have the first challenge?
Then there are some commercial guesses.

Let's meet back here at game time! Virtual party!

On FB I posted a prediction of Broncos winning it 27-17. I was soo close with my prediction it wasn't even funny. HA! 24-10, just needed a few more points and I woulda been a winner of a 139 bucks worth of vehicle detailing. HA!

With family, friends and former teammates looking on in the Denver Broncos meeting room, Manning had a news conference to officially announce his retirement after 18 NFL seasons with the Broncos and Indianapolis Colts. His voice was shaking most of the time as he thanked his hometown of New Orleans, the University of Tennessee, the Colts and Broncos, his old teammates and coaches, and his family. He thanked everyone, really.

I agree, I sure don't like the Cowgirls! I crossed state lines, but I'm true to the team I grew up with. RAMS! They moved, I moved. They are now back in L.A.

I'm kinda sorta letting the Texans into the cheering on section ...:)

To me a win is a win, pre season or not. A true fan of any team knows that.

Any true fans knows that winning in preseason is meaningless because preseason is for team coaches to evaluate rookies, undrafted rookies, and free agents.

Nonetheless, we can both agree that we're all excited to see the return of the NFL. 18 more days!! (https://days.to/until/nfl-season)

I've been giving my diehard Cowboys fan neighbor a hard time about his poor choice in teams. lol It happens every season, but it never leads to any hard feelings. Last year, I stashed his Cowboys flag, only to come home and find it hanging on my house, once he found it. As payback, I put a Texans sticker on his car; he finally discovered it several days later. For some odd reason, his wife thinks football season "makes immature idiots out of y'all."

Well, the Pats are 3-0 despite the Brady suspension. The backup quarterbacks are doing a good job even tho they are a wee bit fragile. Even Belichek was praising their performances - since when does Bill say anything positive about anyone or anything?

Is it just me or do these professional athletes seem awfully accident prone and fragile the last few years?

The injuries are messing up my fantasy teams big time. And, I even stayed away from drafting the fragile players who messed me up last year. I'm thinking it is possible my drafting a player automatically puts him in harms way.

I'm not familiar with football but I know a lot of people who are crazy angry that the Chargers are leaving San Diego and are going to Los Angeles.

Fans have been dumping Charger gear/souvenirs in front of the team facility.

There was talk about putting up a recycling bin at work just for Charger stuff.

I bet there's a good way to make some money removing the Charger bumper stickers that are on every other vehicle I see in my area.

I work with a guy that is a major football guy, like he wears his favorite jerseys to work, kind of football guy.

Cracks me up but he talks to me about football because I have picked up more knowledge this year.

Anyway, neither of us really get why there would be two teams in LA.

He said that they are moving to LA because the SD stadium is so inadequate and the city won't help pay for a new one and there is nowhere to put a new one anyway but can LA fans really support two teams? Do they even want to?

It doesn't make sense to either of us (acting like I am a football expert, ha!).
