1. Fire the person who causes you the most irritation. (don't knock it, I have done this twice in the past month and my days are much better now and the rest of my staff thanks me.)

2. Hot sexting during boring meetings.

3. Surf BFP while on boring conference calls.

4. (and in all seriousness) look out my office window at the Children's Hospital across the street and thank God I am not one of those parents sitting vigil next to a sick child. Puts anything work throws at me into immediate perspective.

Hearing another person's laughter - I seem to always end up in laughter with them.

I used to have this beauty baby Siamese boy kitten, Cowboy:
the way he would talk to me, often made me burst into giggles.

Strangely, I embarassed myself when I was listening to my mother play her violin, a few years ago, by giggling because of the way her violin reacted to the way she was using her implement to tune the pitch of her instrument. She didn't think it was too funny but for some reason, it tickled my funny bone.

A surprise craftapalooza sometime after Thanksgiving. I wake the kid up and she comes downstairs and it looks like a holiday crafting factory exploded in our living room. I'll have invited some of her friends over to join without her knowing.
New tradition started last year, we got golden disco balls to put on top of our tree to replace the tree topper that my ex always wanted on our tree that neither of us liked. So we reclaimed our tree with super gay disco balls. So they will go up again this year.

**I don't buy into what many may believe my stereotype should be, a BIG fag
side is okay, feelings are ok to express, and appreciation for the more sensitive

misogyny I see within the false bravado, back stabbing, etc

this book is on my desert island list. serious time. my copy is held together with a rubber band. Piercy's use of language is exceptional. always blows my skirt up when someone can use print to make me see in fully developed images, complete with sound, smells and emotion. i remember a line from it right now. "what is the use of not actively engaging in life? it passes anyway."

*I laugh a lot, often and often unabashedly. One of my childhood nicknames was "gigglebox".

*If you are a mean gossip, chronically unkind or perpetually negative - I will not like you and I will not invest in a relationship with you.

- I often struggle with highly developed attitudes and knowing if it's a good thing to let it slide or call it out. I'm not always vigilant in calling it out because at times, I can be very caustic in my approach in doing so.

- I probably am as good at procrastinating as those who tend to procrastinate.

- For me, I experience deep emotional reverberations when I listen to music: For example, sometimes when I listen to music, that is instrumental by design, it's not just a melody I hear but rather specific functions and timing issues that cause me to connect with a particular piece of music vs lyrical content within the scope of an arrangement of music.
