The day my parents and I adopted Peanut, a retired show pony. I was 9. So was she. Lots of little girls want a pony. I got one. My parents rule.

One salty, sunshiny summer day that I spent running up and down the Florida shoreline fishing, swimming and crabbing with my brother and cousins. I think I was about 11 and I lost my grandmother's favorite hat that day. But she still loved me ;)

The summer I was 13 and my parents took me and my brother to Disney World for just 1 day ('cause theme parks are 'spensive, y'all). My Dad's knee was messed up from a bad spill at work that year so we had to push him about in a wheelchair. Which turned out to be kind of accidentally awesome because the guy in the wheelchair with wife and cute kids in tow went straight to the head of the line for all the rides :D

Breakfast: Quiche Lorraine. Mimosas and/or an Irish coffee. A few chocolate covered strawberries to finish.

Lunch: Roasted chicken with roasted butternut squash and a chef salad. Angel biscuits w/homemade preserves. (bought from a church fundraiser -- I'm not "that" good. LOL) Sweet tea to drink. And chocolate cake for dessert.

Dinner: Rigatoni in bechamel sauce w/Fontina cheese and prosciutto. A side of asparagus. White wine to drink. (Or a pale ale if they prefer.) For dessert, caramel fondue w/fruit and cake.

There was one called "The Devil's Hole" when I was a kid. You went inside and the room spun around super fast and then the floor dropped out and you could shimmey up the walls. It was barfy but fun!

Roller coasters. LOVE THEM!

1. The battered women's shelter, Cleveland, Ohio, for obvious reasons.

2. My first apartment, Cincinnati, Ohio. Cincinnati is a great city, but this apartment was overrun with silverfish. It also had a gas stove, and I was always too afraid to cook with it. I don't think I actually ate anything cooked in the six months I lived there. From the Silverfish Arms, I moved to...

3. The Cliffdweller, also in Cincinnati. I called this place the "Cavedweller", because it was so dark and forested outside my door. It had a long, steep driveway that was very slick in winter. It was also about 1/2 mile from I-75 and the cars roaring past. I was there for two years.

Yet, all three of these places also had good memories, so I don't regret living there. One saved my life.

**Difficult to answer this one*

1. I tend to listen more than talk- wether in casual or intimate relationships

2. Talking about "feelings" is much easier for me than talking about superficial or casual chit-chat. For most people, it is the reverse.

3. I have a difficult time reading to the "Listening to Each Other" thread. Whether it is about the passing of animals ( including goldfish), parents or lovers sick/in the hospital, car accidents, break-ups; they all make me teary.

Maybe this happens to everyone and I am not that different at all.
