Here is where you can chat about your favorite team. Loved college ball? Wanna chat NFL? Need a safe place to let your football passions loose?
Here it is!
Are you ready for some football?

I just have to say GEAUX SAINTS! 7 and 0! Loved watching them beat the Falcons tonight. :)

The Saints are having a great season...I think San Diego REALLY screwed up by letting Brees go...then again, San Diego has let many good players move on to other teams.
Anywho...great job Saints!

Sooo happy to see my Saints making it a season again. Drew is a fabulous leader. I've got my Saints shirt again so I'm ready for the play-offs. I really really really think we will make it this year. Here's hoping for an actual Super Bowl with the Saints.

I love football. I watch it all the time. College football I tend to root for West Virginia Mountaineers. NFL I used to be a Phili's Eagles fan until Mike Vicks showed up. Now, I am a Steelers fan.
For me, football is more fun to watch than baseball. I wish it would last 12 months a year. :)

To think Denevr is doing better with my team's old QB than we are with theirs. I am not yet a Cutler fan and he has so not proven himself to me. He was recently signed to an extended contract for 2 more years. I certainly hope he gets it together.
On another note, the Saints are doing fabulous and so are the Vikings. I bet SD and GB are are kicking themselves right about now.
Lastly, welcome to Football Sunday, may the best teams win today.

Hellloooo WolfyOne, my Bears Football Feind Friend and to Arwen for getting this going right away. (and yes, Go Saints. recalling that was all they had left still touches a place in the mushy heart). Andrew, I don't watch the Eagles anymore. I know they don't miss me, but..it's mine to choose.
GO Chargers, since I am able to go to their games and it is my local team..of course I always root for the Pittsburgh Steelers, my origianl homey's, growing up @ 3 Rivers.
And , yes, I agree about SD and GB.
Can you see, I LOVE IT> GO FOOTBALL..

I can't believe Cutler came to play today and the rest of the team didn't. Without Urlacher and today Tommy Harris was kicked out in the 4th play for punching someone, defense looked sad. All in all, win or lose, The Bears will always be my team.....no matter where I live.

Great, there goes the neighborhood.
Gotta love college and pro both. Attended the University of Nebraska in the days when they weren't aweful. Now i hear it every Saturday from my dad back in the midwest. It's different being in Atlanta where fans are in pockets, and not tho whole state caring if the win or lose. NOT and i mean I AM NOT a fan of Florida teams at all. And it's weird being in the SE conference, the conference which us so much trouble in those years.
Pro, I'm partial to Eastern, North and southern Pro teams, Pats, Vikes, Saints, Eagles, Giants, Green Bay, Browns, etc. (even tho they suck) etc. I am ready for some football.

Tonight West Virginia is playing Cincinnati at 8pm. The Mountaineer's have a 7-2 record. Then they have 2 more games to play. Tonights game will be a good one to watch.

Love love love football.
Chargers are my team, I miss Drew Brees but Phillip Rivers is a great QB and is doing a fantastic job. He hasn't had the luxury of a healthy fulltime running back. I would venture to say that releasing Michael Turner was a bigger mistake than Drew Brees.
I am a fantasy football addict. I play a traditional style fantasy game with my all mo' league on Yahoo. And play 3 teams on ESPN's Gridiron Challenge. I can be spotted running Sunday errands with TeaPartyTart hovering over my blackberry shuffling through scores and stats.

NO better play ALOT better come Super Bowl Sunday or they will get their asses wiped off the field.

LOL well I told an ex I was a screamer.
He didn't realize I meant at the referees and players. :) I think I traumatized him at a Rockies game. Then he made the mistake of taking me to a LaCrosse game. HOOKED! I love that sport (live--televised doesn't have the same energy). It was like hockey on grass and much cheaper to attend!

Well, i have been hooked up with a football fanatic - i mean fan before. It made for long boring weekends until i figured out i didn't have to stay home just cause they were working themselves into a tizzy and yelling at a tv.
When i do choose to try & watch it, i usually go for the uniform color i like better.
i've even had someone sit with me via phone & watch a game to help me try to learn something about it. i lost interest quickly.
i remember the good old days (all things being relative) when football was "only" on Monday nights & the weekends. Now it seems like there is a game every night of the week!!

I cannot believe the Eagles traded Donovan McNabb, because Kolb has not proven a thing in the games before this year. I have a feeling the trade of McNabb is going to bite them in the ass. I totally agree with the yahoo article in that Vick has proven he can quarterback this team. I was listening to a radio talk show on my way to an appointment and they spoke about this very issue along with his pay.
The person that wrote the article used those initials on ALL of the sports articles I glanced over!

Vick's proof he can throw the ball is nothing new and not the issue. To me, it appears the NFL will do anything to win games. They'd hire a convicted felon? It's all about going to lengths to win. What kind of precedent does this set? They may have well just condoned the crime.

I do not see it as the NFL will do anything to win games. I see the teams doing that though, for the most part. There are have been other convicted felons to play in the league. On some teams, it seems an arrest record is a prerequisite for the job.
In my fantasy football game, there's a 1/2 point difference between myself and my opponent. We both have one player left to play - a WR for the Geaux Saints. Not only do the Saints need to win, Colston needs to get more catches and touchdowns than Meachem :-)
Normally, I am only a college football fan, but I find myself watching a little pro ball this year. I live in Michigan, but I can't watch the Lions. I will watch just about any other team, though. Kinda like the Saints.

My beloved Bears played so well today without Jay Cutler
Hanie is going to turn into a great QB if they let him play more
Running game was spot on thanks to Jay not playing.......YAY!!!!!

I was watching the Georgia Bulldogs and Vanderbilt play today and was totally pissed at the ref's call. It sure looked like a completed pass to me!
I have never seen a team beat itself like Red did today.
8 dropped passes, fumbles, 90 yards worth of calls and every wrong thing you can imagine. Texas didn't win. We lost.

Bulldogs are NOT having a good year!!! What with their athlectic director getting caught in a delicate situation and a DWI and a few team players DWI it does not look good!

I can (and this is hard) honestly say, losing today wasn't all Jay Cutler's fault.
Players on ofense were hurt and we had rookies in and one was actually a tackle
Lance Briggs is injured and made it hard on the defense without him
Come next week, hopefully we'll have healthy players
I can then say how much I think Cutler sucks

Why would you take anyone from the Lions?
I think they should prove themselves first
What other QB is hurt?
I must have missed it.

Titans vs. Jaguars Monday Night Football Preview
"This is a big game for the Titans. The Texans and Colts both won yesterday, so this game takes on even more importance because the loser falls a game back in the division. This is also one of those games where the Titans are the better team, and it is crucially important to win those game"
Titans or Jags?
