This morning, went to my appt. and it was parking lot full of iced water that had drained off the yard into the lot. SLIPPERY WHEN FROZEN FOR SURE>..my arse almost fell and hit the ground just trying to baby step to the sidewalk, looked like I was on ice skates and didn't know a damned thing about holding myself up on 'em. lmao funny to watch tho, I just laughed at myself along with the other guy in the parking lot chucklin cause he was slipping around to for the same reasons. lmao

My poor indoor/outdoor cat wanted out, and kept whining to go cause he likes to potty outside, well his ass went out and didn't EVEN stay outside for a whole minute before he was grabbing the door handle rattling it begging to come back in. lmao Needless to say, he didn't bother to ask to go back out that night and decided the litter box he has was soo much better than outside. hahahaha I gotta love my cat, he's a hoot.

It's a beautiful day before our weekend storm. It is 7 degrees and will only get to about 13 today but the sun is shining and it's dry and we're so starved for that right now, I'm very grateful.

3 inches of snow during daylight Saturday and, depending on which report you look at, 5-8 inches overnight.

Sunday will be another 3 inches or so.

Monday will be our clean up day and then it's back to snow on Tuesday.

This is how it's worked here since January and it's tiresome. There's barely time to clean up the roads before we get dumped on again. It's so much worse in areas like NY and PA and MA that are used to seeing more snow too. They are in the same predicament. We can't catch up!

Meanwhile, here in Asheville, we got 2" of icy snow mix. Its just bad enough for me to have a "snow" day from work. More so because of the icy, winding roads.

Higher elevations supposedly got 6". It won't keep. It never does.

My inner New Englander misses the snow....just not in the amounts y'all are getting it in. Bless your hearts...
