Now, it's around 29 degrees and clear. Snow is expected around sunrise and will not stop until around midnight the following night.

It went from little to no accumulation to 1-3 inches and now we're at 5 inches, dammit.

Today I had to go out to the Dr.'s for a med check then go home, OMG the weather was way hotter than I thought it would be. The Doctor has a rule about picking up the Rx's instead of calling them in or my son picking them up so I have to be there to do it in person. I still haven't gotten my handicap hanging tag yet so I had to park a ways from the door, it was a long not walk to and from the S.U.V. The weather report said 107 in the shade. Last night our sister city on the other side of the river was catching the worst lightning storm ever of over an hour it rumbled and lightning popped hard right along with hard blowing wind. Then it got real quiet for a while, that's when I thought ....take cover nados coming... but then we got the rain, and more rain that when on for ever it seamed like. I felt sorry for anyone who had already put out the trash to be picked up in the morning, probably got blown away any way.

Couple of tornadoes are occurring a few miles from me, as well as waterspouts offshore. My county has torrential rains, squalls are picking up, and since we are on the eastern side, or dirty side, will get a lot of this potential activity of tornadoes & waterspouts, flooding, & nasty ass rains in next 24 hrs.

At the moment, she is due to hit land around 8pm tonight, up in the area called the big bend, or, panhandle....as a Cat 1. hurricane.

One definite love I have for Texas is the storms... they are truly badass!!! I grew up on CA where we have no seasons. The thunder and lightening storms in here in the south are awe inspiring!

Winter storm warnings and tsunami warnings were issued late in the day, yesterday. I am in bed, watching the pine trees dance in the wind, and watching giant snowflakes floating from the clouds. Winter snow warnings are issued for today and the next three or four days. Nobody is going anywhere if the snow stays because although Mt Marshmallow gets snow in the Cascades, it usually doesn't stay for long here. Will be lovely to see the snow blanketing our paradise in the Pacific Northwest.

Haha! Yes that is cold for us. I winterized my house and covered the plants. I agree, I need a hot blooded woman!! I would also consider three more cats. Haha!

NE Oh/NW Pa is starting to feel like winter. I-90 has multiple car accidents, shutting down sections of the freeway.

I have lived in upstate NY and NH so winter in Oh doesnt phase me like it use to. Just drive slow and keep an eye out for someone who has lost control of their own car.

I got out the electric blanket before bed tonight, my fur kids knew just what it was and took no time picking out the spot they wanted to sleep in, at least they left me enough room to sleep under. I put the top cover over the blanket so they wouldn't have any problem with the wires.

Its a hot muggy morning, but we will pay dearly for this spot of spring next week. So we are going to do some prep for the coming week so I wont have to go out. I clipped both my fur kids cause they looked like a hairy bears with this messy hair that they were glad to be rid of so I got them some warm jackets to wear when they went out to potty...that is if they wouldn't use the doggy pads I have in the wash room instead of the cold. Temperatures down in the teens tonight in Eastern WA. Higher temps and mild/light snow during the day. In some spots watch out for black ice, particularly on the cloverleafs and over bridges. However road crews have been working hard/doing good job of keeping highways and main city streets sanded and clear.

It rained on and off all day yesterday, it rained last night and the news said it will not stop until the evening today..

They also said that we will have more rain Christmas Eve.

Weather-guy said the ground is soaked.

Our weather consists of nice (70's); sunny most of the time; too hot (low 100's); drought, Santa Ana (asthma-level) winds, cool (40's to 50's kind of cool); very rare rain and then flooding and mudslides down the hills.
