If there is no rain on party night, we will have an outdoor fire in the firepit and will have the patio heater cranked up. High for the day in the mid to upper 50's, low around 38. If you dare to brave it (I will) then bring your stuff for the hot tub! And as always, if you want to reserve a room at the PupOil Inn, please let us know in advance. I make a pretty good breakfast; just sayin'.

There will be the usual games on the Wii, Fact or Crap, Apples to Apples, etc. Santa may or may not be bringing us new games to try out next year. Time will tell.

Currently, my favorite food is Pho. So, Vietnamese would be awesome but I'm flexible. I LOVE middle eastern. I can tear up some meat dolmas with yogurt sauce or some kifta balls with persian rice. And, I've been to Kerby Lane and I love that place too. And, they have PIE!!!!

I suggest we wait and have dinner together then go out for some karaoke. I'll bring my singing goat.

I can't help ya with the job field. I dont actually live in Austin, but close.

I lived in Louisville for 8 years. I loved it there, but the LGBT community was terrible. I went to Tink's only about once a month cuz that is about all i could take..lol.

You will LOOOOOVE Austin. great area, great community. Costs is about the same as Louisville. Texas doesnt have state tax.

Hello,

I've live in Austin for the last 10 years of 22 spent in the central Texas area. Austin is the most gay friendly city in Texas IMHO. Dallas, Houston & San Antonio while they have had or do have more organized communities don't have the laid back, fun atmosphere that Austin has. The best way is to come visit & see for yourself. The job market for your industry may have jobs, but I. Would get the job first, then take the plunge & move.

Both the Magnolia and Kerby lane are open, so is Rudy's BBQ @ 183. I cant find a Vietnamise or pho resturant that is open on Sunday in any part of town.The two mediterainian resturants north are not open until evening!
