Oh.....in other news, Candace called earlier......the truck overheated and the trailer (with the car on it) almost caught fire.....but at least they were in the middle of the DESERT when it happened!

She said they're gonna lose the trailer and one will drive the car and one will drive the truck. They were supposed to be in El Paso tonight, but I'm thinkin' that didn't happen.

Then Albequerque to Salt lake city, utah (10 hours) then we slept

Austin, the Austin Museum of Art has a new exhibit. It's only $5 to get in (unless you are a member then it's free). Maggie and I went today then had lunch afterwards.

I reccommend Matt's El Rancho, they arent open for breakfast/brunch but do open at 11am and they have 4 large dinning rooms as well as a large patio and they take reservation as well. If that is good with you and Blaze;the next question would be who else is interested in meeting up for a sunday meal?

Well.....our Pup and Oiler have 'tied the knot'.....and it was one of the loveliest evenings of tenderness I have witnessed in quite some time!

From the tears.....to the ceremony....to the food (and that CAKE!!!!) and new friends made.......it was just lovely!

I have to admit that Wedding even brought tears of joy and happiness to this ole Butches eyes. It was nice to see old friends and meet new ones after talking all this time. WT and I had a wonderful time sitting and talking with all of you. The mood,music and food made it a fun weekend.

Today, I rode out to an animal shelter with Satan....

Sometimes, people call her Ms. Tabitha. :|
Everything was ok until we got there and she says to me...."Oh Janey....let's go look at the KITTEHS in The KITTEH KOTTAGE!!!!"

Be strong, Janey, I say to myself. They will not have a black female kitteh. I knew they wouldn't.

Oh hellz yeah they did. But I was strong. STRONG! In SPITE of Satan.

And then we went to Kitteh Kottage #2.

And there they were. The 2 Siamese boys...4 months old. Looking at me with big blue eyes which said, "Come hither, DivaDear...." One was rather calm....the other talkative....and I had to hold one. Ok, Satan MADE ME HOLD THE DAMN CAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Satan held the other one.

Then she made me hold BOTH of them.








Then I filled out the paperwork and brought them home. End of story.
Yes....Lucy is feeling rejected, curious, instigationatory (it's a word NOW) and playful.

She wants them and she doesn't. She loves them already and she hates them. But SHE gets to go outside and they do not, so she is feeling a bit superior, I'm thinking.

But the bottom line? They would not make it through the month, I'm afraid, had I not adopted them.

And they are Purr Machine Lovebugs! I have yet to name them......

Oooh, wow! You're a Meezer momma now! I think that's just great. Meezers are fascinating cats - beautiful, smart and full of personality. Lucy will love/hate them. LOL I'll tell our Henry and Linus that they have cousins (once I know their names). I'll post some pictures of our boys today, too.
