Spending this fine blustery March day at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Nashville with Miss Pink. Finalizing the paperwork for my state boards test and getting it sent off. Then chillin' out this evening, cleaning and prepping my mountain bike and gear, for a slippery, sliding mudfest of a bike race tomorrow at Chickasaw Trace mountain bike park!

- walks at the lake, near my house.. it's an escape from the chaotic city noises until i can be back in the country setting again.. the trails, the peace, connecting with nature, the wildlife.. now that the snow has melted and everything is drying up so nicely, the trails should be ready to go soon.. so planning a date with nature & a camera, as soon as i can! ♥

- also, the nice weather.. though it's already warming up, i find the nicer it gets the more motivating it is.. i always find the ends of winter season a lil drab and blah, being sick of snow and cold weather, it's hard to motivate myself out walking and enjoying the weather, especially when the sidewalks were completely icy.. ice + klutzy sylvie = disaster

- after a really wonderful , deep conversation yesterday - a real glimpse into future plans that has me smiling from ear to ear, living in reality - and loving that! good things really do come to those who wait =)

Looking forward to getting tomorrow over. I have to work in a different department tomorrow, the job is standing in the same place doing the same repetitious thing all day long. I'm not use to being still, and doing the same thing hour after hour all day long. I'm trying to be positive, but I think it will drive me insane and the day will take forever to get over with. Not to mention I'm not use to standing all day either. Hope this doesn't cause my achilles tendon or plantar fasciitis to flare back up. It took me years to heal those and being sedentary trying to heal them is what has put a huge amount of weight on me.

I am looking forward to my birthday weekend. My birthday is June 5th. I am going camping at the lake with lots of my friends. We love camping. I can't wait to get to the lake and feel the warm sun on my body and swim with my all friends off the boat.

Then on Sunday is the Pride Parade in Conway. I have never been to a pride gathering before. I hope there is a good turn out. I think several of my straight friends are going to go and support me so that is always a good thing.

A drive along the Pacific Ocean, then the San Jacinto Mountains (Idylwild) and Palm Springs Resort all in the same trip. Stopping where the beauty captivates me and the mystique enthralls me. .

Finally getting out to the cemetery this morning with the gorgeous flowers i had made up for Mom's grave - yesterday afternoon i called the cemetery office to arrange for a ladder (since Mom's on the third level in the mausoleum) and who should answer the phone but the wonderful fellow that was our funeral director. He was just amazing - personally did Mom's hair and make-up and selected the most breathtaking roses for her casket piece. Naturally we had to do a lot of catching up and will do some more this morning...

After the cemetery i am meeting up with a friend for coffee, food and conversation...

At the moment i am looking forward to my nails drying so i can start getting ready...

Tomorrow (if I ever go to bed!), I am going letterboxing in Tacoma and then heading to Seattle for a Diverse Harmony (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diverse_Harmony), concert. DH is the nation's first gay-straight youth alliance chorus. They have some amazing singers and a whole lotta talent and enthusiasm. One of the choir members is an acquaintance and she is graduating high school this year. It will be her last performance with DH, so I want to be there to support and celebrate with her.

After that? Home to do laundry and chill with Molly :cat:.
