Hi,

I bought jumper cables.

I have been messing around with my lawnmower for a year now. I charge the battery for hours then it may or may not start. My lawnmower mechanic told me not to buy a new battery because they all do that but the wasted time charging it got on my last nerve today. So I bought jumper cables and hooked them up and the mower started on the first turn of the key.

Why did I waste all that time charging the battery when I should have just bought jumper cables a year ago. Silliness!

Another new reciprocal saw! This is the third one I've bought in as many months, but this one is really special. Reciprocal saws are usually the best choice for the specialty styrofoam carving I do most often on my job, though I sometimes use chain saws, too. I burnt out my heavy duty saw on the last huge project. Last I looked, the reciprocal saw I wanted with the rarely available lock-on trigger, (keeps me from getting tendonitis), was out of stock, and I presumed discontinued. So I bought a crappy interim saw until I could figure out what I really wanted. And then my cute little one-handed Rigid brand saw burnt out because I overused it, and I had to buy another one of those, too.

Today I found a heavy duty Makita reciprocal saw WITH a lock on trigger on sale, and I bought it! Instantly. No questions asked. I LOVE buying new tools!

Yesterday, I finally broke down and retired my nearly 6 year old LG cell phone, replacing it with an LG Optimus F6. I also switched from Verizon to Metro PCS, allowing me unlimited everything for almost $25 a month less than what I was paying just for unlimited talk with Verizon.

Today, I bought groceries for the week, including some pickling cukes that I will make dill pickles with this coming week. :)
