I bought so many things after work today!

One of the department stores are going out of business so EVERYTHING was 60-90% off and with my points card I got another 5-10% discounted which worked out to mean that everything was tax free!

I think I am set for groceries and household products for the next month (or more) AND I managed to get most of what I needed to pack, organize and move. I got two wooden clothes drying racks for 4 dollars each and they are collapsable, which means I can easily transport it when I travel.

I bought totes, tape, sharpies, file folders and a bunch of other things to sort my project/business expenses.

I bought a few little easter goodies, personal essentials and even a few pots and pans.

It was a great day!

I bought a fruit smoothie from orange julius, when I actually took my lunch late in the day.

I also bought a cinnamon roll from a bake sale.

I was given an extra luggage lock and some bubble wrap for traveling. I am not sure the bubble wrap will last that long - I may use it for a diversion for my temper. If it DOES make it, I will likely use it as a source of entertainment while I set up camp.

The PM serum smells wonderful - even if it doesn't work well, I will use it just to enjoy the scent lol I will let you know how it works after a few days of using it.

He spent almost an hour cutting it and it looked great when I left the salon, so hopefully I can recreate that look (that's always the hardest part - getting the exact same look as the salon).

In the cafeteria at work I tried to buy a blended coffee with skim milk, 3 shots of espresso and sugar-free caramel syrup but they never, ever give me what I ask for so I've resigned myself to accepting whatever they choose to give me. 1 shot and whole milk? No problem! Here's my $5.00. Oh you want a tip too? I have to draw the line somewhere...it ticks me off because I work darn hard to keep my customers happy. Idk...that's life, I guess.

It was one of those "Oh, damn" moments where you wake up, make the coffee, and realize you used the last of the coffee creamer the day before. Gotta have priorities. First of all....y'all have got my imagination going in high gear :|

Secondly, it is too early for me to have made a purchase, but I fully intend to get a coffee on my way to work...and maybe gas...nothing quite as interesting as the above.... :canadian:

A Dutchman Pop up camper...really nice and clean...I'm excited about it.

I'm getting to old to lay on the ground, well actually what it is, is that I can't get up off the ground fast enough not to wet my pants in the middle of the night.

cat toys
dish detergent
chicken
oatmeal
some other boring stuff I can't recall.

The cat toy that is shaped like a banana but filled with catnip was very popular. They nearly fought over it.

5 new pairs of shoes, 3 pairs of pants, 1 t-shirt, 1 dress, and one jacket are on their way. Adding these to the things I purchased last week (prom and cabaret dresses), and the clothes I picked up on Wednesday (2 casual dresses, a light jean jacket, and a pair of boots), I think I am done with reunion shopping (I fucking hope so, because I am over shopping right now)

When I shop for reunion, it reminds me of how it felt to do back-to-school shopping as a teen. I get totally emotionally exhausted with the shopping, but I feel a tinge of giddiness (and a lot of guilt, because I generally try to do my shopping at resale shops) about having new things...

I also picked up:

Starbucks
Energy drinks
Vitamin Water
Multiple cans of sustainably caught sardines (chile & lime, cumin & chile, mustard & dill, smoked, & mustard)
Garlic Lady's Habanero Stuffed Olives (so fucking good)
Laundry soap
Garbage bags
Gum

So now that I have a twelve year old penpal (the son of a couple that are friends of me and the wife) I thought we'd have some great fun. He still contacts me every day via Aim for a morning chat. It's been such an interesting relationship. We are going to work on a project together. He seems interested in working on haikus with me, so I sent him a special composition notebook and a couple of special pens. He hasn't gotten them yet of course. He's an adhd child, and his parents are excited that he's really interested in this.

Cream coloured, sheep face slipper boots.
Tinkerbell costume.
Light up wand.
I bid on a pair of Irregular Choice Green Glitter Tinsel Court shoes. I hope someone doesn't pip me to the post when I'm at work or sumfink! (If I don't get them there is still time to find shoes for Tinkerbell) http://i943.photobucket.com/albums/ad275/nikennyyyyy/0001.gif

I just finished unpacking my luggage from LR (It takes me a little while to grieve being home, and I was sicko when I got back). Since the bags are now unpacked and stored away, I decided to give myself a reason to pack them back up again, and I purchased tickets to visit Gaige in December....WHEEEE!!!! :stillheart:

I wanted to eat a cookie today. Not just any cookie. I wanted a big old North American tasting cookie.

I got one.

Oatmeal Raisin.

At the SUBWAY which opened a week ago.

About 200 meters from where I am sitting right now in my classroom at work.

In China.

I bought a few things for the kids and I bought myself some new noteboooks. What I did NOT buy is: two carts of art supplies on two different sites. Sheesh, sometimes I forget I don't have an income. I'm going to miss those years of having wads of money in my pockets and piles of change in my piggy banks. On the upside.. I haz stocking stuffers for the kids.

Today: nothing

Yesterday: nothing

I know this is no way to contribute to the economy, but that's what happens when someone gets a hold of your purse and takes all your money....
