May I ask which three craft stores?

You may!

First was Michael's, because I had to return something. I got Dylusions and Tim Holtz clear stamps (coupon!), a small decorative box (sale!) and a package of wooden letters (clearance!). Then Jo-Ann's because they are in the same plaza, the demons that they are. I got a SHIT TON of punches from them as I had a 25% off total purchase coupon plus the punches were 40% off, plus some stamps and one clearance item. I have a real stamp fetish, especially the clear, cling stamps. I actually save about 40% of what I spent overall so it was a fantastic haul and my punches have a lifetime warranty so if they break the manufacturer replaces it. Then AC Moore was on my way back. I had another coupon for total purchase and I got some basics: stencil, paints, Sharpies and they had their Nicole washi tape on sale so I got some rolls of that. I have a washi tape fetish too and snatch it up when it's on sale, even though I know how to make my own.

Although I buy crafty stuff all the time, yesterday's haul was a major splurge. I do this about 3-4 times a year if it's a good year and the sales work out to my advantage. Watch the holiday ads. They go crazy trying to get people in!

Hobby Lobby is further up the road, but I boycott them due to their politics. Same with Chik fil A, which is in the same plaza that Michael's and Jo-Ann's is and that makes me angry when I see them because I freakin' love their food. Bastids!!!

Yeah, I was thinking of that after seeing some recipes on pinterest, but it would come out to be a bit pricey for me to do regularly. Buying enough raw cashews even from a bulk store to make the equivalent of a carton would end up costing more than the carton unfortunately :(

A supply of postcard stamps because, they were on my mind - plus, they have the coolest Modernist-ish bird designs, a la Charlie Harper.
A book of stamps called Colorful Celebration that look like laser-cut designs.
A book of stamps with old Ford trucks on them - including an aquamarine 1965 Ford F-100, which my dad will totally get a kick out of, because he still has one for real and it's still running.

I live really close to an Aldi's. I was very skeptical about a place where I had to bag my own groceries. I know that type of store, cheap off brands, nasty tasting....etc.

Ok, so I went in. I was truly amazed how clean, neat and well organized this place is. And OMG, I have saved so much. Practically saving half in grocery budget. I'm surprised how good most things taste. Eggs, cheap, yogurt, cottage cheese, cheese, bread, refrigerated pasta sauces, frozen pizzas...and much more. I had to learn their checkout procedures, but it's ok!

I'm not a fan of their salad dressings, but I haven't tried all of them. You have to watch produce, but all in all, I'm impressed. If you have one close by, go check it out!

Pad Thai. Not just any old Pad Thai though. Our favorite place was shut down over the summer when the building next to it was torn down and caused the restaurant to start to collapse because they didn't realize that the two old buildings had been holding each other up. They re-located to a new building and have been re-building everything. They finally opened up this week so we went for lunch. It was Soooo good. I had half and saved half for dinner tonight.

Tickets, for Juan and I, to hear Sixto Rodriquez at the Arlene Schnitzer concert hall in May. I nick named Juan after Sixto's nick name of Sugarman, because Juan and I share a vast love for music, music we both like together. Plus, we share the same month for our birthday's : May. He's a Taurus, I'm a Gemini. It's funny how things work out....years ago I said I'd be just fine after my love dove and I found each other after a crash. That's basically what happened in.our case. :stillheart:

Hit up the farmer's market and got a metric ton of fresh veggies and fruit, organic chicken thighs, buffalo wings, cheap wine, and the various bric-a-brac of cooking.
Also stopped at Staples and got my 155th wireless mouse. Well, maybe not my 155th but definitely by 10th or 11th. I have an entire box of Logitech mice but the little receivers either won't pair or the mouse itself is wonky. Those will be donated when I get home because I'm sick of playing Tetris with receivers and batteries.
There was also a stop at a top-secret location for a Yule gift :hangloose:

A beautiful pair of dress pants that fit like they were made for me. They will go amazingly well with my cold shoulder sweater (which is slightly sparkly - great for our Christmas eve service, which I may be singing at... waiting to hear back from my parent's minister)

A new front door lock set which is shiny, shiny, shiny brass - but I have to take it back tomorrow because it doesn't fit. But I'm sure I'll find one that does fit that is just as shiny to go with my new navy blue front door.

the coolest stocking stuffers! I can't remember exactly what they're called, but they're like rubber-covered twist ties that come in all different lengths, and fluorescent colors as well as black. I remembered all the times I have needed an extra-long twist tie, and I tried twisting several regular ones together, and it didn't work very well. These things are great!

I bought a pair of Poi Balls for a young man who helps me around the house. Just this week, he took out all the pots from my bottom cabinets and repapered the bottoms of them before he put them back in and organized them (I cant bend very well with my hip problem so this was a huge thing for me). While he was here, he told me about the new fad, poi balls and he really wanted a set. Of course I had to get him them!

I did not buy this (https://www.rageon.com/products/taco-cat-onesie) but I want to so badly it hurts. I have a pajama party in a couple of weeks and they would be so perfect. If not for the price tag.

More meds, one for my infected toe the other for my eye...something got in it then scratched it up so now I'm putting ointment in it three times a day. The toe is because of a ingrown nail that has been a problem for a while, I tried to get an appointment with my Doctor a lot sooner but the new receptionist is a selfritious (?) snot who may be working his own exit papers being only a selected few got appointments that fall after noon on Friday cause anything that is after then means they wont close if anyone comes it to be seen, the DR.is only just finding this out as it doesnt happen often.
