Thank you! I can understand Spanish more than I can speak it. I love cooking and it helps me to relax. I found cooking everything in extra virgin olive oil makes it healthier and is very good for you. Good luck on cooking, if you need ant help, let me know. I switched to SoyMilk in place of cow's milk and I watch my sodium intake. As a result of everything I have changed in the last four years, I lost 60lbs and I have been able to keep 43lbs off.

I can understand how you feel. I loved someone very much and trusted and belived in her. What lies she told me and she was talking to another gal on internet and by phone for a year. It blew my trust and heart all to heck. I feel she cheeted on me when talking to her ex and making plans to go out west to be with her ex. I'm geting on with my life. I do wish my ex the very best in life. I'm talking to a gal and we have a lot more in common. Its still hard for me to trust but,I'm working on it. I would like to say this,I have been hurt by a male and a gal I can say a women hurts just as much as a guy. So its not one sided. for you ((((((HUGS)))))

Zimmy, it's awesome when we can remain friends with an ex like that.. i've maintained a friendship with ex's and we realized we made better friends than we did in a relationship.. we had to take some time off too for a bit..but it's awesome when you can get passed that hurdle and have an awesome friend!

Good Morning everyone. I've had a nice weekend but it's back to work for me tonight. blah I'm not particularly looking forward to this week. They moved a night shift person onto the overnight shift because of the conflict she caused with her night crew coworkers. No one on our overnight crew is happy about this. I'll be fine as long as she stays out of my way. She already knows I won't take any shit from her so she pretty much leaves me alone already of course our shift only overlapped an hour. Now I have work around her for a whole shift. Thank goodness for my Ipod.

When I had my first apartment in Orlando, my roommate and I had two cats. They loved to chase each other around and one day, one of the cats, knocked the other one out of our 2nd floor apartment window.

Thats how I ended up with 4 cats....I wanted to get a playmate for my kitty then I got another one, then another one....then I fostered and ended up adopting Goldie. When Boo went to the Rainbow Bridge, I told myself that I'd only have 3 cats, no more but Goldie stole my heart lol

Sounds like you have what I had and thats no fun at all. Try taking Musinex, that helped me alot....and asprin or Tylenol every 4 hours not to mention Nyquil when you go to bed at night. Get lots of sleep!!! Feel better soon

ok ya'll im a baby when im sick! cant sleep anymore.. doc cant see me untill tomorrow. im sweating have the heat set at 80 because i feel like im freezing. cant eat.. but im drinking alot of water.. guess that good wheres doc sunny anyway? woke up my right leg,arm an my face felt numb. toung still feels numb but it think that is part of an old back injury. that put together with this other crap is impossiable! yea im winey. oh an plus its a holiday so i cant even deal with finanical stuff.. so im winey an board!

Cody get yourself some musicinex and some dayquil and nyquil for nighttime symptoms until you can see the doctor and some soup too so you can eat something hot and nourishing I hope that helps if I lived closer I would go to the store for you!!

ok ya'll im a baby when im sick! cant sleep anymore.. doc cant see me untill tomorrow. im sweating have the heat set at 80 because i feel like im freezing. cant eat.. but im drinking alot of water.. guess that good wheres doc sunny anyway? woke up my right leg,arm an my face felt numb. toung still feels numb but it think that is part of an old back injury. that put together with this other crap is impossiable! yea im winey. oh an plus its a holiday so i cant even deal with finanical stuff.. so im winey an board!

Yes when fever is present you must drink liquids as well to hydrate yourself so that is something to take into consideration and the flu is widespread in Arizona so that could be the reason!! hope you feel better Cody!! yay Zimmy, that's exciting.. i soo want to do this as well, i wanted to apply for 2010 but the list had over 250 applicants and they only had a lil over 50 available seats so i knew i had no chance, not as late as i was applying.. so i'll be sure to apply as soon as i can for the 2012 classes and hope for the best.. getting e verything ready that i need in the meantime..

Good MOrning Singles how is everyone so far this morning?? I have a doctors appt this morning so have to get ready and go but it like 15 minutes away so that is good but no parking that is bad and there is snow on the ground so parking will be tuff. I will leave early that is all I can do. I posted some stuff on freecycle and this lady came last night to pick up a toaster oven and left me a bible and a CD of the New Testament. Well I'm Jewish so the New Testament is not going to do me any good!! Oh well what can you do??

Ouch Gail, hope you didnt hurt yourself too badly! i had a spill on the ice last week too, just outside of work in the driveway..i pulled muscles in my tummy and my lower back and hit my head so hard, i still have a bump on my head, not as big as it was though, thank goodness.. ice is the devil, i'm sure of it! we don't get along at all..

we're expecting more snow today too, they've already cancelled school before the snow even starts, wish they'd cancel work too *laughs* we're expecting a lil over a foot of snow so the forecast says, blah! hoping we don't get that , we have enough snow already lol!

and yes, i do often work split shifts, sometimes three hour shifts and sometimes twelve hour shifts, but often the split shifts.. i dont mind the 7-10 and 4-7 ones, because it gives me lots of time to do stuff through the day, but the 7-10 and 1-7 ones are harder cuz by the time i walk home, i feel like i cant do much before im walkin back to work again lol. makes for a long day.

and yes, i know some Americans who work here in Canada.. it is possible hehe... have a great day!

I woke up this morning with a sore throat! Thanks to a friend lastnight who talked me into going to CVS, I have a bottle of TheraFlu waiting!!! This crap isn't going to ruin my dinner plans tonight.

It's cold here in Florida to. We have what is called a "wet cold", due to the humidity in the air. When the wind kicks up, it can feel like it is in the teens.
I'm thinking of moving down to Key West, where it is always warm!

Welcome Dakota, My mother used to live in licester...near Ashville ...for about 10 years I guess. Beautiful place.

I am still nursing by poor little broken heart. lol oh well... gonna take time. Getting angry now so I guess that's progress. I did manage a good nights sleep last night with some help of an over the counter sleeping pills, so i finally got some rest. Hate to take stuff like that, but I was getting desperate. I have trouble turning off my brain at night when I am stressed.

Being nice to myself and made myself mocha and having grits for breakfast. I love them but they have to be a treat. Not so good for my diet! I put raisins, walnuts and light syrup and a little light butter in them. Deliscious!!!

Going to clean out a closet and and couple of drawers today. Nothing like organizing your enviornment to help you organize your thoughts I find.

Good Morning Singles!! I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday. Zimmy, I'm sorry that you're not feeling well...it seems we've all been sick lately. I'm cleaning my kitchen today then I'll take a nap....or maybe I'll take a nap then clean my kitchen lol. This week I'm taking a big step and cutting my hair to bangs...I've had my hair parted in the middle for so long so I'm a bit nervous but a friend of mine has been convincing me I would look good bangs and it would give me a sassy look. I have layers in my hair to and my hair is naturally wavy. Living in Florida, it frizzes very easily and during the summer time, it is normally in a pony tail. I have found a straightening shampoo helps keep it tamed and using Garnier Fruiteses<spelling?> Anti-Frizz serum helps out to.

good morning and happy monday singles! im headed to the gym early. have to take my dog (Karma) in for a lil surgry to remove a lump this morning..(poor baby).
have to tell a funny that happened yesterday: i was flippin threw the programs on TV before the game yesterday.. found this channel the barbel channel so i tuned to it. i got busy picking up house and wasnt paying attention then my buds showed up and said hey cody? are you ok man? why are you watching the barbie channel? Good Morning Singles! I hope everyone had a good night. I took a sleeping pill last night and my head feels like its in a "fog"...hopefully my coffee will take that away. Today is the day I get my hair cut into bangs and yeah I'm nervous.

good morning and happy monday singles! im headed to the gym early. have to take my dog (Karma) in for a lil surgry to remove a lump this morning..(poor baby).
have to tell a funny that happened yesterday: i was flippin threw the programs on TV before the game yesterday.. found this channel the barbel channel so i tuned to it. i got busy picking up house and wasnt paying attention then my buds showed up and said hey cody? are you ok man? why are you watching the barbie channel? OMG ill never tune the TV whithout my glasses again. im still being harrassed!

Good Morning Everyone,

I didn't go to class today, which sucks since my nutrition class is only 8 weeks long and if you miss one day, you are behind.

I so want to yell at my roommate, knowing both of her sons were sick, she asked me to babysit the oldest one Thursday night. I didn't know how sick he was, so after staying up most of the night with him, he started coughing on me. Now I have a bad cold and I'm taking meds like there is no tomorrow. She had her infant son in the hospital Thursday night and that is why I was watching the oldest one. So on Saturday night after I came home from having dinner with friends, she was home with both of her kids and I found out, the oldest son has pneumonia. I nearly flipped out. She knows that I had pneumonia and that I have a good chance of getting it again.

Sorry, I'm ranting, but I hate being sick.

Have a good day, I'm off to make a pot of coffee for all of us.

Feel better soon Zimmy. I caught what I had when I was sick from my mom. She swore that I wouldn't catch what she had but she was 100% wrong. I still have the cough. Anyway, I hope you feel better soon

CF I want to see a pic of your new haircut. Z girl so sorry you are sick. I am sending chicken soup. MS thanks for wondering were i was. It is nice to know that I was missed. Gail glad you got your sidewalk shoveled. If you put ice melt down it will help with your snow removal. That is what they do at work to keep our sidewalks clean while it is snowing. Cody man who do you like for the superbowl? I pick the steelers. Hey it takes a very secure Butch to watch barbie. Forget about it.

Heya Matthew,

Don't worry, I am calling the health department in the morning and I'm going to see what they cam do for me. I'm not sure if this is just a sinus infection or a cold, but it needs to go away. I am not going to class tomorrow, but I need to go back by Wednesday. My nutrition class is accelerated, so I cannot miss more than two days. I'm afraid that I may have gotten pneumonia from the oldest child and I am hoping it is just the flu.

my daughter's school gave the option of keeping the children home if we felt it was too cold, they never give that option so brrr, it's cold! my son couldn't stay home though as he has career day today, so gave him money to take a taxi so he didn't have to walk or take a bus.. he's doing career day for 12 hours at a Pet Store, he's excited LOL.. we're animal lovers !
