Good morning all. I hope you all have a most awesome day!

Glad you finally got moved Zimmy, I was a busy man yesterday between work and doing a few things around the house and spending 3 hours at my parents trying to debug their Directv system. Took my 2nd receiver over there and hooked it up, climbed on the roof to check all the connections on the satellite dish itself, took a new splitter over and swapped out their old one. But alas, nothing would work so I think either the dish itself has issues or the cables coming from the roof and under the house are the issue. They have a tech coming out on Tuesday to check it all out. Anyway, my car battery died last night and I had to jump my car off Miss Scarlett's car so I'm heading to town in a few to get a new battery and put in my car. I'll probably go over to Walmart and get a digital antenna to hook up to my parent's plasma tv so they can at least watch the race on the big tv vs the lil 19 inch my Daddy has in their bedroom, lol. So busy busy day for me, oh, I have to go to town around 4:30-5pm to take pictures of my brother's niece in her prom dress, they are doing pics in front of the old courthouse downtown. Then perhaps I'll come home and crash since I woke up at 3am and been up since then.

Zimmy ...good luck on the job thing... i have been trying to find a new job/career for about 4 years... still stuck in daycare. Can't seem to find something I can do and get paid a decent wage. I love the kids, but the pay stinks.

Went to church today, then over bff's house for a visit, then home and reorganizing my desk area. Made a lot of progress but I will finish it tomorrow night.

Back still hurts from the last work week.... gonna try to take it easy this week so it gets totally better. A bit tired from being sick yet, but that should get better with time.

Good Morning Singles! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! My computer is finally working!!! Yay!!! We had a really bad storm here the other night and the next morning I woke up to my modem being fried so I had to get a computer tech to come out. Luckily someone was able to come the next day.
On another front. I spent Sunday night in the ER. I had a horrible abcess (like a boil) that had to be drained. Luckily they had me on enough morphiene that I didn't feel the procedure. Now I have pain meds and antibiotics. Between that and my tongue, I think I'm falling apart
By the way, Sunny, the trash is out!!!!

I found it by accident one day when I went to the dentist and they had to pull a tooth. It helps to gently clean the mouth and heals any cuts and abcesses in the mouth. I know Target sells it.

I am excited! It is for a sales management leadership job, which I am qualified to do.

Actually this absess is under my right arm and was cause probably by an ingrown hair when i was shaving. Since I didn't do anything when it happened (thought it was a bad bug bite), it spread and when it started to get red and hurt, I went to the ER. But, I'll pick up some of that toothpaste next time I go to the store, it sounds good!

I can't wait to hear how the interview goes!

Lol, I can do that. My nephew knows better than that, he knows his old Uncle can be fun but he also knows what it's like to cross that line, so he's pretty good about keeping those toes just on the other side for the most part, lol.

Oh, taps my temple, I's a pretty smart Uncle, I have a concrete front porch and he has color chalk and is permitted to draw there, so that fixes that lil appetite.

Hope you all are having a wonderful start to your day! I went for my power alk this morning and it was already humid outside... If any of you are looking for a new suit, Macy's has a good sale going. I bought a nice dark grey Tahani suit yesterday for $69.99. I have an appointment for tomorrow to have it hemmed, since I am only 5'0".

CF, kitties are cute! The local news just had one on for their weather pet, and she is a black cat named Luna. The local ASPCA is letting people adopt either a black adult cat or tuxedo adult cat for free on Fridays. If I had my own place, I would be down there. I loved both of my tuxedo cats, one was gray and white and the other one was a black and white. I miss them dearly, but I had to give them away when I moved in with my oldest brother. My nephew is allergic to cats. Athena is hanging out on the back of the couch looking out of the window and sunbathing...

Hope you all are having a wonderful start to your day! I went for my power alk this morning and it was already humid outside... If any of you are looking for a new suit, Macy's has a good sale going. I bought a nice dark grey Tahani suit yesterday for $69.99. I have an appointment for tomorrow to have it hemmed, since I am only 5'0".

CF, kitties are cute! The local news just had one on for their weather pet, and she is a black cat named Luna. The local ASPCA is letting people adopt either a black adult cat or tuxedo adult cat for free on Fridays. If I had my own place, I would be down there. I loved both of my tuxedo cats, one was gray and white and the other one was a black and white. I miss them dearly, but I had to give them away when I moved in with my oldest brother. My nephew is allergic to cats. Athena is hanging out on the back of the couch looking out of the window and sunbathing...

I love, love, love Tuxedo cats! I'm glad the ASPCA has free adoption for black cats as well as Tux's. The shelter that I adopted Goldie from was having a "kitty bowl". They took the 2 college teams down here (Gamecocks which main color is black) and Clemson (main color is orange) and they went back to the last time they played each other and used the score for their adoption prices. The final score was Gamecocks-37 and Clemson-7. So the black cats were only 37 dollars to adopt and the orange kitties were only 7 dollars to adopt. I thought that was a really clever way to promote adoption.

My two Tuxedo cats were giving to me by my mom. She let her black lab outside one morning and she found all four of the kittens on her back patio. They were about 3-4 weeks old and she had took care of them with the help of her black lab. I took all four of them and I found homes for the two Calicos. I named my gray and white Tux, Finck, since she was always getting herself into trouble. My black and white Tux was named Bugsy LuLu. Whenever she would become excited, her eyes would appear to bug out of her head. She was the runt and my favorite.

I love shopping at Macy's and I was surprised to find that suit cheap.

We spent almost four hours at a Starbucks on Monday night. We are trying to arrange another time we can meet up for coffee. I ended up having to take that suit back, it would have cost just as much as I paid for the suit to have it hemmed. The suit was made for someone who was taller than me...I found another really cute skirt suit that I had and it fit me better. It is white with a navy blue trim on the jacket and navy blue skirt. I now have to go and find a baby blue top to wear with it. I am nervous about this job interview tomorrow....If I get the job, I will be broke, lol.

As for me, I'm doing pretty good. The healing of my abscess seems like its almost healed, I just have to be careful for now, what I do with my arm but it should be better in a few days

Try keeping a bandaid on over the abscess and see if that helps. Band-Aid makes bandaids for blisters and I found those help keep my shoes from rubbing against the blister.

I've got a gauze pad over the abscess and am on pain meds and antibiotics. I try not to take the pain meds but sometime I have no other choice.

Good Afternoon friends and singles..its a cloudy morning here today with some rain seems like it has been raining for the last couple of day already..had to take the dog to the vet yesterday for his eye seems he got an bad infection in it. So now I am irrigating and medicating him with pain meds and antibiotics which isn't fun because he doesn't like to take pills at all!! UGH My friend is here so she is helping me with the dog. Together we have three dogs its a lot to deal with in one day!! Well, saw my ex again and this time we talked about our break up. First REAL conversation we have had since it all ended. Lots of tears, yes it was for the best, still don't like HOW it ended, got no real answers to that.... glad we talked, but right now, I am just thinking, that if I can't make it with her, then who the hell will I be able to have a relationship with. We were so compatable on so many levels, her excess bagage from her previous relationship (long and very bad) keeps her from giving me what I need.. A real, loving, committed relationship. I don't do half ass.. ever. Feeling very sad. Not too many ppl around her that I have NOT met. Sooooo I'm thinking, sadly, that I may be alone for a very long time, maybe always. Is it a bad thing to want it all? I want someone who loves me, only me, and who makes me her world just as I would make her mine. I want to be in a relationship where we can't wait to see each other... want to be together. Not nessasarily tied at the hip, don't have to be together 24/7 if you know what I mean, but I want someone who misses me when I'm gone. Who would rather do things with me than anyone else. Still have our friends, our interests, together and apart... but I want someone as devoted to me as I am her. Is that really too much to ask? I want the ceremony, I want the white picket fence, I want a LIFE with someone! Feeling blue... maybe tomorrow will be a brighter day.

I've been lucky that I've never been hurt when getting my eyebrows and lips done. I go to a beauty college right down the street. Everytime I've been there they've done a good job...besides its cheaper lol

I hate, hate, hate panty hose!!!!!! They are so uncomfortable. I ususally wear stockings that come up to my thigh, its much more comfortable.

Good luck on your interview, you'll have to let us all know how it goes. I have my fingers crossed for you.

I know what you mean about loud neighboors. The couple that live below me fight all the time. Once the man said "I guess you can hear us fighting". I didn't want to say "yeah, i do and its disruptive", instead I just said "I can hear bits and pieces"

I think the butches have run away, lol. It sucks about the washer and dryer, to bad there isn't a laundromat near you. The interview went well, but I am not saying yes or no about the job. I think the recruiter loved my ability to work at a fast pace, but I maybe underqualified for the position. It is for an assistant manager job. Good Morning Tommi,

Here in Florida, it is a right to work state, so they can tell you whatever they want to as to why they won't give you the job. I am a quick learner on computer systems and I can type over 100WPM's. Another thing that is hurting me is the fact that I have a Bachelor's degree in the business side of computer programming from one of the best private schools in Orlando aka DeVry University. Some managers see that and start thinking I could take their jobs, lol.

Got in a swim and jacuzzi before it got really light out. Today, I have done two loads of laundry, dishwasher just finished, bleached counter tops and polished tile, trash and recycle emptied, Master bath and bedroom vacuumed. Clean sheets on the bed.
Socks all matched, jockey's and T-shirts all folded and put away.
Dry cleaning ready to be dropped off at the cleaners.

Brought home some paperwork and have a report to work on, because I AM A WORKAHOLIC. :mohawk:

It may be your degree, i run into something similar when sending mine out. Because of my 20+ years in family law most solo attorneys and small firms immediately reject me because of salary requirements. Large firms reject me for the same reason. On top of that i am so specialized that it takes forever to find a position in my concentration. It's good that your advisor helped with your resume but you never know...since the job market keeps evolving due to the economy it might be a good idea to have it checked again.

i am good...still slowly waking up...slept late because i was up late talking with a friend...have laundry going and the grocery store awaits (ugh)...

Had i not been in some really bad head space from the sudden break-up of my previous relationship, i never would have been in the one we were discussing - not that the other person was without spot, just saying i never would have gotten involved with them in the first place...

My job interview is tomorrow at 11am. The manager sounded very enthusiatic about interviewing me. Matt told her, that I was good at working with computers, and I had a long work history in retail..

Birthday parties are fun and I am looking forward to my niece's 11th birthday in July. I am going to find a cute art set or some kind of sculpting set. She got the arts and craft gene from my mom.

I have been out at the mall applying for jobs and taking assestment tests. I went to the college today and I have an interview tomorrow with the Peabody Hotel. I have a mock interview appointment tomorrow at 11am with the Career Services department and I was able to get two letters of recommendations from my old boss in the Library and the Dean of General Education. I also was able to get the President of the campus' permission to use him as a reference....Hopefully this all works out!

I color my hair dark red, i started doing it when some gray crept in lol sometimes i also put blond highlights in it

I'll be around tomorrow night and early Friday morning since I don't have to be at the airport till like 9am on Friday.

I've just been working my rear end off as of late, projects and timelines ya know how that goes. I hope you are doing well and enjoying your move to Orlando. There used to be a cool house in Kissimmee(sp) called the house of Xanadu, I think it was, that employed modern technology to make it an efficient house power wise, water wise, etcetcetc. I don't think it's open anymore, may even have been torn down, this was back in the 80's mind you, lol. I just thought it was a cool house, was circular in shape and made from huge balloons with some sort of coating blown over them inside and out.
