I just got off of horse pills myself for a UTI it was cipro and yes they were big. Rain tomorrow I hope it rains in the afternoon not the morning, how are you feeling thus far CF??

Its a boring day again. No sleep at night because of sleep apnea so I have to wait for the report to be generated which takes forever!! A mask is in my future for me but at this point I can't wait so I can get some sleep. Even if I take a nap I still wake up...

I'm still feeling icky...hoping these horsepills will kick in soon. We were supposed to have rain today but didn't get any...we're also supposed to have rain tomorrow.

My Boss is still sick and she will not go to the Doctor. She says she will tough it out. She has been sick for three weeks now. I wonder just how long she will go. OMG!!!! I think I caught this from her not that I am smoochin on my Boss. LOL Do not get the wrong idea. She did buy be some soup and gave me Halls cough drops though. She probally feels guilty. Not!

I wish I could be home so I could talk to everyone during the day. I am on the 2pm to 11pm shift. The Holidays are coming so things will become very crazy soon. Then when you think it is all over there is inventory. Which my Boss has put me in charge of. So I have to make sure everything we need is set up. I have to redo the floor map, get the food ordered, schedule everyone so they know where they are counting. I have to make sure at least one person in the team knows how to count. This can be difficult. Are you guys getting stressed out with me yet???? Yes misery loves company. Just sayin.....

I tried to go into the chat room earlier and I could not get in. Has anyone been sucessful? Please let me know.

And as always I am signing off for the night. Yeah my sister gets all sorts of germs from her students that she passes along. Between her students and having 2 kids of her own, the germs run wild. I found some cinnamon tea that tastes really good but of course I need to have my coffee :) I'm going to go out today and get some Theraflu, I already have Alka-Selzter cold and flu. I've got on my "i don't feel good clothes"...a pair of sweats and a U of MD tshirt with my hair in a ponytail lol

I know what you mean about needing a nurse. My cats aren't very good nurses although they are cuddling with me. I know of a nurse but they don't live near you and has germs...just sayin'

Try Zyrtec, when I had my sinus infection this year, it helped me breathe. I know TheraFlu used to make pill form of the maximum strength.

I have to be up at 5am tomorrow for my microbiology class that starts at 8am until 11am and then I am off to my anatomy class that starts at 12:30p until 5pm.

I got a 72 on my anatomy lab midterm and the lecture midterm is hard as hell and you either pass it, fail it or land in the middle. Either way, whatever grade you get on it, is the overall grade you get in the class..I am still shooting for my A, but I am thinking I will end up with a C...

I can feel my antibiotics kicking in with a little help of DayQuil. I have 10 days worth of pills...hopefully I'll be feeling much better before I run out of pills. I'm positive I got this flu from my sister who got it from her 3rd graders

funny thing happend to me in the wee hours of the morning..... my alternator fell off.. well and luckly was just hanging there.. which also cuzed the belt to break sooo here i sit in lake station IND.. hopfully wont take them long to fix it.. hope ur day is better then mine..... heh
soooo im enjoying some coffee and about to order a nice breakfast.. sometimes i get a notion for something that envolves eggs. :)

hmm no..... no new alternator .. forget what it was.. lol think a belt...
and i heard something during the night driving down the highway but thought it was something in the road.... it was dark and raining all the way .... no signs ..... until i got here to park for the night.. and notice my voltage gadge was at almost zero.... thought hmm odd. wonder why .. i always check my gadges before i get comfy for the night.. soo rolled it over to the shop thats here at the Ta truck stop........ and they pulled it into the shop.. at 2 30am.. when they found out what it was had to wait for parts dept to open at a peter bilt place..... so hell i went to bed.. lol i was pooped.
it was nice snoozin in my truck with it turned off and out of the elements for a change.. lol

Hope you all are having a good night, I am f**king exhausted. My anatomy professor let me and another girl go to Dunkin Donuts to get coffee between our lecture class and lab class. The guy at DD, forgot to add nonfat milk to my coffee, so I ended up drinking a iced dark coffee with French Vanilla syrup...Needless to say, I was bouncing off of the walls and had my lab worksheets done in about thirty minutes...

I am off to finish studying before my anatomy lecture midterm tomorrow afternoon..

Hope you all are having a good night, I am f**king exhausted. My anatomy professor let me and another girl go to Dunkin Donuts to get coffee between our lecture class and lab class. The guy at DD, forgot to add nonfat milk to my coffee, so I ended up drinking a iced dark coffee with French Vanilla syrup...Needless to say, I was bouncing off of the walls and had my lab worksheets done in about thirty minutes...

I did the samething to my hair. I cut about 6-8 inches off because it was so thick and there was alot of it. I got my hair cut in short layers and I love it!!!

When I read about listening to my mom, I had a mouth full of coffee which I had to clean off the screen. My mom and I haven't gotten along since I was a kid....we're total opposites
As for your hair, keep it the way it is. My ex had curly hair and it was wonderful. Hy did use some mousse on it when hy wanted it straight and pulled back in a ponytail...hy was hot looking!

Today I have to go in for 3pm and work till 12am. I am not looking forward to today. We are having a visit which means even more work. However I have the whole weekend off so I am looking forward to it.

I am feeling a little better talking these horse pills. I think I will try to do something with friends over the weekend. Feeling a little Blah today could be the weather. It is gloomy outside.

I told her if you have convinced yourself of that then that is what will happen. Then I looked at her and the thought came to me that she was going to meet someone. So I told her you will meet someone and you know him already. Well in three weeks she did meet him and she knew him from her past as a friend. Now they are planning on getting married. She is very happy.

Which brings me to the conclusion. Have a little faith and if you are truly looking for love, it will find you.

Good Morning Everyone,

It is a bit chilly here in my part of Florida this morning. I had to sleep with socks on my feet lastnight, it was such a beautiful day when I got home from school, that I opened the windows and when the temp starting to drop, my bedroom windows were open which made it really cold in my room, lol. I love the cold weather and I miss living up north.

I got a 70 on my anatomy midterm, the professor knows that students are walking around with his notes, so he made the test damn near impossible to get an A on.

Good to read that you two are feeling better! I can honestly say, I went to a Waffle House once in Atlanta and I ended up with food poisoning, so I don't go there anymore..There is a family restaurant in Holly Hill, FL that I loved to go to when I was a kid with my mom and her best friend. Their chicken was rated #1 in Volusia county and even though I can no longer have fried foods, I would love to go there one day and have some of that chicken.

So, tomorrow I am going to email her boss with all of the shit she is pulling on us and I am contesting my grade in that class. I am passing the lab part of the class, but I am failing the lecture part...I am still trying to figure this out..

ok so the doc has limited my working out due to a hernia.. but says swimming laps would be ok.. now heres the question.. my gym has pretty strickt rules on what can be worn in the pool.. my old apts used to let me wear shorts and a beater but this place wont let me... so should i get a 2 piece suit? maybe in pink? lol im gona look like a drag queen either way with my big ole tatooed arms hanging out.. i guess just a black 1 piece speedo.. sheeez this is gona kill me. anyone know of any alternatives?

Hope the babies are feeling much better. They love to make a mess for us to clean up. I remember when my mom's lab, Sheba, releived herself on my mom's tile floor. My mom came unglued, since the dog was nine years old. After a few minutes, my mom realized that she was having puppies, her male Yorkie had gotten the lab pregnant. Needless to say, those were some odd looking puppies, but very adorable.

Morning! UGH, my dog and one of my cats woke me up at 5:30 because they were both sick. Why does this always happen when I have either just cleaned the carpet or washed all the bed clothes?

Hey Cody,

I would try and reason with them. Maybe see if they will allow you to use the pool early in the morning or late at night. I cannot see why they would have a problem. Or you could see if there is a local YMCA if they won't; which would stink since you pay rent to live in the apartment complex.

Hello to my single family. I have been working like a dog. Now instead of working 9 hour days we get to work mandatory 10 hour days which leads easily into 11. We are salaried so I guess it is like free payroll.

Anyhow, I am still taking my horse pills. I missed one day. Hope it does not hurt me. Is there a nurse in the house????? Just sayin.....I think I need one. LOL

Went to Red Lobster over the weekend with friends. The portions are huge. I spent the majority of the evening trying to explain Butch/Femme dynamic to a non Femme/ Butch person. She just did not understand why the labels. She claims that I would be limiting myself to meeting someone that might have qualities I am looking for. I told her even though there were different degrees of Femmes. The energy is what I crave. The Femme energy brings my Butch energy out. It is like a drug. LOL I am not one for labels but I feel at home with my B/F community.

If there is any interest in meeting in the chat room on Thanksgiving Day, let me know. We can set up a time. Which leads to yes, a Thanksgiving story. Here we go.... My Mother would make the most delicious stuffing for Thanksgiving. Of course she would put sausage in the stuffing. She also liked to use the giblets on occaision. You never really knew when she would have the grrrreat idea of adding them. As she would refer to one of the parts as the last part that jumped over the fence. Get my drift? Well we sat down to dinner and just before I was to dig into the stuffing I asked her if she put anything in it meaning the giblets. She said no I did not put them in. I asked her again and she replied, "No." Something told me to check the freezer because she would freeze those parts if not used. What do you think I found? Or did not find. My own Mother lied to me. Hence I did not eat stuffing that year and discovered that my Mom could lie to me. Of course in her eyes for my own good.

today i go shopping with my mom for a few more items for thanksgiving day..
and im just hoping she doesnt do her back seat driver thing with me....
sometimes she is good and other times. OMG!! she has almost caused me to have a accident..... almost screaming at a car turing on the street in the next lane........ LOOK OUT FOR THAT CAR TURNING!!!
or.. we r a quarter of a mile or so from the light that turnd red.. and im going 35 or so.. ARRE YOU GONNA STOP FOR THAT LIGHT?? OMG!!! .
or.. one time we were in a parking lot leaving a plaza.. im gonna make a left hand turn... on the street for on coming traffic was a NO U turn sign.. well she got all bent out of shape cuz i made a left turn out of the parking lot trying to convince me that I made a U turn .. :| .. and was just not letting it go for a mile or so how im gonna get a ticket.. etc etc.... * sigh* ..
i said....... good ...... let them stop me i dont care. lol

I love your stories :) It can be hard to explain the B/F dynamic to someone that just doesn't get it. I've found myself in that situation a few times and sometimes its like beating my head against the wall. I'd love to be at the Thanksgiving chat but I've given in and am going to my mom's house for Thanksgiving....I want to see my niece and nephew. Good morning everyone. I hope the holiday went well for all. I have friends in for Thanksgiving which has been great fun. The weather however has not been quite co-operating. Freeze warnings in Las Vegas are rare, but we survive. Took everyone to see The Lion King, an excellent show if you have the opportunity. Yesterday was filled with holiday shopping. i know about the freez.. im just below vegas in the kingman area.. all the leaves have fallen off my trees i spent part of my time raking and bagging them .. no way i was going to go anywhere near a store!!
its been pretty much a kick back take care of me weekend .
i am so looking forward to next month spending time with family!!

I woke up with a swollen gland on my left side...thing is as big as a baseball! Looks like another trip to the doctors if it doesn't go down. Today, I'm just going to take it easy and play with my Paint Shop Pro program. Whatever your plans are for the day, i hope you have a wonderful day!

The last time I was in GA was for Pride in Atlanta and that was in 2007, when they were still holding it in Piedmont Park. That was also the last time I ate at a Waffle House, me and my friends all ended up with food poisoning...I had a blast taking the MARTA. That *box* you are referring to, also felt good to break out of when I was 28. Unfortunately my *box* had to wait until my dad had passed away. Being raised in a strict Southern Baptist family, my dad didn't like anyone who wasn't like him.

Good Morning Lipstix,

I will be studying for my microbiology lab practical that is this coming Wednesday. My roommate volunteered us to babysit her two grandchildren who are toddlers, and we also will have Elijah and the baby here. So once they all start running around, I won't be able to study anymore. I am thinking if it becomes to hectic, I will leave and go to Starbucks and say screw hanging Christmas decorations.

Good Morning Singles! I hope everyone had a good weekend :) Since today is Monday that means I'm working at the shelter today...with the long, holiday weekend, I hope some of my furry babies have been adopted. My lump on my left side of my neck has gotten bigger and I'm running a temp (don't really want to go to the shelter today but have to), I'm going to call the doctor and get into see him or her...whoever can take me first.

I just got done with emailing my sister who told me the samething about going to the doctors as opposed to taking care of the animals. So, I called and let the shelter know I won't be in and will call the docs office at 9am...hopefully I can get in today

heck i have a honey do list for my doc this morning ..
1 is a plugged ear...... i tried fixing it myself but nothing is working.
2.. well there is a story about the 2 .. i nicked myself shaving under my arms like wow 4 weeks ago or so..... nd well it got a lump there... soo i tried taking care of it myself... and the stuff i used worked .. cleared it up.. and is healing but... there r these pimples.. 1st 2 then 3 .. and its gross but i broke them.. and some healed up.. then more poped up.. 1 got infected . i been trying to fix it myself... i m always doing that. and well...... its time to go and see the doc, i think i need a good dose of a antibiotic .. ( i know thats spelled wrong).. lol
i was kinda embrassed to tell this story about this issue .. cuz it sounds gross.. i swear... i never shaving under my arms again... ( ok im kidding) lol
i know i have a very strong immune systym lucky me... i very rarley get sick with anything.. lord i better knock on wood here.. lol lol
and last but not least i need my blood pressure meds renewed.
