Thanks, Gail! I don't go back to DC till the end of April. As for my kitties, I know they'll be well taken care of since the teenager that will be coming in to feed and check on them each day is really responsible and loves animals

You're right, it would be very expensive to kennel them. The girl coming to feed them and look in each day is the daughter of a friend. She's done baby sitting, dog sitting....now she can add cat sitting to her list lol

Hope you all are having a wonderful day. I am leaving for Orlando around 3pm, this way I can beat the rush hour traffic. I bought a really cute white shirt yesterday with a black cardigan to wear over it. It is so beautiful here today and I am going to miss the beach....

CF, I would never put my kitties in a kennel, I would take them to my mom's house when I went on vacation...

I can honestly say that my cats have never been boarded at the kennel. I usually have a friend come by or family stop by (my family complains about it so a friend works best) to make sure everyone has food, water and some love. I've never trusted the vet for boarding my animals for exactly the same reasons you mentioned

Just got home from the bone yard,boy am I tired..long day to.
I have never borded my fur kids any where,they go with me or my son takes care of them.I really sometimes worry about takeing Rowdy to get cliped cause I wonder about them cleaning the cage she is put in.All my fur kids are up on shots but not everyone dose that.She is alergic to heart worm meds unfortuneatly ,so I shure keep lots of bug spray rubed on her,to my amazement bounce works good for buggs .Have a nice afternoon floks,im gonna chil a bit.Later.

Good Morning Everyone! Happy Saturday! Its a chilly morning in Columbia (doesn't help that I turned off my heat for the season) so I'm just kicking back in some sweats. Since today is Saturday its my cleaning day...or procrastination day, how ever you want to look at it ;)

I cleaned yesterday because I had my friend over for the day it was nice. We went shopping and all then had some Chinese food for dinner and watched a movie..I think next time we will go to a museum in NY and some dinner as well.

It was good the dogs played and kept each other company. Two JRT's and a Chihuahua made for good company. We will get together again maybe next week because there is a distance between us Queens vs New Jersey.

Hi Domn *watches you chuckle* I'm like you, I can't stand waking up hot during the middle of the night. The only reason that I really turned off my heat was to save on the electric bill which has been astronomical!!! By the way, 2009 isn't new ;)

wow Miss... thats a lot of sappy stuff on the car........ i dont remember the name of these small flowering tree's , that bloom from spring to fall... they come in pink /wite.. and the sap comes of fthem soo much ... that sometimes if you stand under them it feels like rain sprinkling. heh

ok i am in the Des Monies Iowa area ... and had a awsome time yesterday with a friend here... think i walked my leggs off at the Bass pro . but heh it was worth it. ;) then we watched movies..
now im still here...... and been asked out on a dinner date.. heh.

so i have to ask......... why do some poeple assume that because your on a dinner date .. its something towards a going to gether thing??

I'm glad I was able to get in so fast, as soon as I told the dentists' receptionist that my doctor said I have polyps she scheduled me right away. I used to work at Godiva for 18 months and I can honestly say, they have the best dark chocolate dipped strawberries! No one can understand how I lost 60lbs working there, hehe...

How was your Saint Patricks Day? I had the luck of the Irish yesterday! Have you ever heard of a website called, Fallers.com? They are from County Galway, Ireland and I have a gorgeous Claddaugh necklace from there. It is very dainty and when I first got it, I always had to keep checking to make sure I still had it on.

I also heard back from Harry & David's in regards to the assistant manager's job and they want to schedule a phone interview with me. The assistant manager and the recruiter who interviewed me, asked me what my qualifications were. When I told them, they both kept writing stuff down. They wanted to know how I kept track of my textbook inventory and I told them, that I created a Microsoft Excel document and did inventory once a week. They are going to start me out making more than I made at the bookstore, if I get the job..

The assistant manager and the recruiter who interviewed me, asked me what my qualifications were. When I told them, they both kept writing stuff down. They wanted to know how I kept track of my textbook inventory and I told them, that I created a Microsoft Excel document and did inventory once a week. They are going to start me out making more than I made at the bookstore, if I get the job..

I haven't been in here for sometime. I have been down and mostly trying to rest. My Mother made her will out. She hasn't been well. My sister had the nurve to ask me to help her cute my daughter out of things. My reply #1 She is still my daughter even if she is rude snotty and feels she's better then me#2 my mother wishes will be done the way she want them.(I guess I feel ashamed how my sister is trying to go about things) I don't know if I should warn my daughter or not. My sister has the handing of every thing. I know she makes my mom feel like crap. I'm a typ of person I feel othere peoples pain and so on. Some of the family are in Japan. We found out they are ok and helping othere Japenes and otheres out. The gal my brother was to marry has brest cancer. My aunt has a tummer in her loung. There is a gal I'm intrested in how ever she has cancer and needs to be checked offten.She just had ceymal done. I don't know what will go on with us. I now at my age we tend to fall apart...lol I don't know if we should go further or just stay as friends. So,as you see its been a real bummer around here. I'm glad my family is safe in Japan. I do know they are down playing the nuk stuff over there but japan doesn't want people to know.

I haven't heard anything yet and I am going to call the Vera Bradley recruiter back today. I am not sure why they told me Monday, since Monday's are very hectic. Have your hair stylist add long layers to your hair. My hair used to be long and thick, until three years ago, when I cut eight inches off. It was unbearable having long hair in Florida and I found the layers helped out.

I am hoping I can go to the Gaffney event!

I'm doing great Zimmy! Thanks for asking, other than my client trying to work me into an early grave and taking up most of my time things are good! I'm not complaining about the work mind ya, just my hours are all screwed up internally cuz I"ve been keeping some late hours working. I would still be sleeping but my client called at 8:45 and woke me up after I worked til almost 3:30am, lol. So now he's waiting on me to have a cup of coffee and call him back when I'm coherent and not half asleep, lol. I love the Outlet stores. I bought my first Kenneth Cole New York handbag at the Orlando Prime Outlets store and it is worth the $55 I paid for it. It has literally gone around the country with me and it still looks brand new and I have had it almost two years.

Hope your client gives you a break soon, this way you can enjoy the beautiful weather we are having down here in the South.

Have fun MS and how do you all handle being stuck in traffic for three hours? There were two bad accidents on I-95 Southbound this morning and it took me an hour to go 3 miles and I felt bad for the two truck drivers that were in front of me. One of them, decided to have fun with everyone, and rode the shoulder so no one could pass him..I was laughing hard at him....
