I usually start in September and am almost done before Thanksgiving; however, I agonize over the last 2 or 3 things to buy right up until a week or so before Christmas :: shrug ::

I think the better question would be what wasn't on the menu? lol ... fried chicken, turkey, ham, broccoli casserole, mashed potatos, candied yams, green peas, cream corn, slaw, biscuits, baked beans, mac & cheese, field peas, green beans, chicken & dumplings, fruit salad, salad, some other stuff that I don't know what it was but some of it was good, some was "wtf is this", lol. Then all kinds of pies and cakes, brownies, cookies, banana pudding etcetcetc and of course sweet tea and sodas

I can't remember it all, lol, there were like 5 rooms that had tables set up so most everyone could sit down. There were about 40-50 people there. I have a big family on both sides.

Then, I get to do it all over again this coming Saturday at my mama's side of the family, lol.

I think I just made myself miserable again, lol, where's that Pepto???

Now we have lil snow flurries going on, yay!!

Only place I plan on going to is over to my parents at some point to take my Daddy the vitamins I ordered for him, lol. It will be a quick run since their house is only 200 yards or so in front of mine. I'll keep that in mind, ya never know where I'll be venturing out to just to get out of the house!

Its yummy just go down your kosher isle in the grocer and get the mix, you add eggs and oil and some water mix let stand for 15 minutes form into balls and drop in broth with either some chicken or turkey!! let me know how you like it??

Well truth be told I have a house that has to be sold and I have a trustee that's a bitch to work with she doesn't let me do anything!! I have to find a job in the medical assistant area first then maybe she will let me move down there, it is really hard on my joints the winter that is and my asthma would be better too...so for now I have to stay in boring NJ with no butches to be had or anything, there's NY but its expensive to go into all the time, have soup on though and making matzoh balls in a little while its a mix so its easy to do..and there's lots of soup for the week..

We have a different kind of cold here in Florida. Where I live on the East Coast, we have a lot moisture in the air and causes a damp cold. Mixed with the winds, it feels like it is in the 30's right now. I would rather have a Michigan or Pennsylvania winter than this.

Have a safe trip to Chicago and send us pics of Navy Pier!! To clean your laptop screen try using a eyeglass cleaning cloth. That is what I use to clean my iPhone. Just gently rub the cloth on the screen and you have a plasma type screen.

It doesn't sound like your mother meant to breed her dogs?

She really should consider getting her animals spayed and neutered. It is really unsafe to breed dogs unless you know all about the dog's family health history. Many puppies are born ill or with problems when they are bred nilly willy. Plus, dogs that are spayed/neutered tend to lead healthier lives.

The SPCA will neuter/spay for $25. Cheaper than all the vet bills you will now have with puppies on your hands.

I know you didn't ask for the above information, but I thought I would throw it out there in case the reason your mother's dogs aren't spay/neutered is due to cost.

The female was in heat. It's hard to tell when a small dig is in heat, compared to her black lab that she had for 13 years before she died. I don't think my Kim even thought about that happening. Come January I have class on Monday's and Wednesday's so I will be here until I move at the end of march. Then I might take the puppy with me.

I'm off to finish studying for my anatomy final that is tomorrow morning.

Morning singles; it is a cold very frigid day in Georgia. We are expecting sleet mixed with snow tonight. It is 24 degrees right now. I am working on a pencil portrait of a black stallion. His head, neck, front part of the chest and one leg is almost done. I think it is looking pretty good so far and it pleases me. I've been dealing alot with insomnia too lately, I have melatonin to take but even that has not been working so well ~ this last week or so I've been up until as late as 5am some nights and today was the latest I've slept in (got up at 1pm). Anyways, I hope that your doing okay :)

Good Morning Sunny! I'm braving the cold pretty well actually but I guess its easier for me since the cold here isn't as cold as what I'm used to from living in DC. Last year in SC they got 6 inches of snow and freaked out...at the same time I was dealing with 3 feet lol

As for Christmas decorations, I have a wreath on my door and some garland around my balcony rail and thats it. I figure that if I got a tree, the cats would climb up it lol. I know I've been saying this but I really need to finish wrapping Christmas presents to get it out of the way...I keep saying that I'm going to finish this up but never get around to it. Hi Matthew :) I've tried taking Melatonin but that doesn't help me at all. My doctor has me on some sleeping pills that helps put me to sleep but I don't stay asleep so I wake up at all hours. I hope things in your life is going good

It takes 9 hours and the location is in the large intestine. Lol yes there is other ways of relieving stress. I might be going to Miami with my old roommate, he goes every year to visit his mom. I just have to see if I have enough money to make the trip. When my lease is up at my house at the end of March, I will be moving back to Orlando, and I will have a better chance of finding a job. Here in Palm Coast, I am being told, we don't have a job that meets your qualifications. I have a bachelor's degree and most companies won't even interview me.

I should know by tomorrow what my grade is from anatomy.

in other news...it was a interesting drive during the night whered all that snow come from going thru indy?? geeshh ..had to pull into a truck stop due to freezing rain .. will be landing in Gordensville TN this afternoon.. have 3 more hours before i can drive anyways.. soo the roads should be better :)

Well we woke up to a little bit of freezing rain and ice this morning, but it cleared off by mid-morning so that's a good thing. Still had a lot of wrecks going on because of black ice. Lucky for me my commute doesn't entail traveling in a car, chuckles.

For the holidays we always get together at my parent's on Christmas morning, have a breakfast/lunch type of thing. We hang out and watch Christmas parades or movies. Then we get back together the morning after Christmas, my little nephew comes over and that's when we open gifts, have lunch, socialize again.

This Saturday afternoon my mama's side of the family gets together for a big lunch so I'll probably be miserable again like I was this past Sunday at my Daddy's side of the family Christmas get together, lol. I have to make sure I still have some Pepto.

How about you? I see perhaps you might be going to Miami! I'm sure hope it's warmer down there than here, lol, have a great time whatever you choose to do!

That sounds like fun. When my dad was alive, we would go to his grandmother's house on Christmas Day and those old mountain women would make so much food that you couldn't eat it all.

I'm thinking about going down to Miami, I should know in a couple of weeks if I can. I will be spending Christmas Eve and Day with my family, and my oldest niece and nephew are supposed to be down on the 26th, which will be an early birthday present for me.

You do know that getting dirt on your bike is a good thing. It means it is being used as recommended. Ridden, not buffed. Mine looks like it has gone through a mud puddle. It has salt on it even. Cause it is moving too much to sit still long enough to get washed.

well im a lil diffrent there i wipe my bike down constantly checking for lose or broken bolts/nuts an oil/gas leaks ect.. just stay on the safe side and i like to keep it looking sharp.. it does get trashed but soon as im home im cleaning her.
