What a crazy day! I have been on the run most of the day. Had a lady fall in the parking lot and bust the back of head open. I had to use my wonderful bedside manner and provide first aid till EMS arrived. She kept saying " I know you from somewhere". I had an international visitor ask to have her picture taken with me...............I'm wondering what's next!

I am working the early shift until next Friday and I am really enjoying it! I sent my department director an email in regards to transferring to the Reservations department and then saw a posting advertising, my PM Supervisor's position was available. So I sent my director another email asking if I coudl apply for this position as well...

We had a guest trip over a ladder that a housekeeping employee left in front of her door and she dislocated her arm and had to be rushed to the hospital.

So........ sparring did NOT go well today! Down and OUT in the first round. Walked into a double right that caught me just above the nose. I'm seriously thinking about not fighting again. I can't find anyone my age to get in the ring with, so I end up with these kids half my age and then get my ass kicked. Very discouraging! My nose hurts, I'll probably have a black eye again and my head is still fuzzy. I feel like such a pussy right now!

I had to work at 6am this past weekend and then I came home to finish unpacking what I could. I am off today and I am laughing at this guy who went to Lake Eola in Orlando and stole a swan. The police followed the trail of feathers to the guy's house and arrested him. What would possess someone to steal a swan? They are huge birds and it would be hard to hide them...:confused:

Coffee is ready and I will be back once I make a cup.

Karma is doing great! spoiled as ever!
with my father and my brothers flags i decided to get the triangle display boxes with there name plates on them and put them on shelves for display.. the flaggs are so huge! and the cases are very nice.

I have my dad's flag in a shadow box, but I'm not sure how to hang it on the wall. I have my grandma's Bible wrapped up and in a hatbix in my closet.

Fur babies are meant to be spoiled!

I ended up in urgent care this morning. I have a concussion from sparring yesterday. I'm out of the gym for 7 days and ABSOLUTELY no fighting or sparring for a minimum of 3 months. I'm not sure exactly how I feel about this right now. I just know that I can't chance another head injury. It's been a very long day, so I'm off to bed.

There is no summer in Vancouver this year, it's just cool and always cloudy. It was sunny yesterday but not hot. I don't think it's been above 30 all year.
Part of me is happy for that, I am not a hot weather kinda boi but it's time.

I have been enjoying watching my favorite soap ever "All My Children." it's going off the air on ABC in September so I figured I would watch til it's done. It was the only one I really grew up watching and watched on and off.

I have a job interview today, and a sort of interview tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Yesterday was brutal and to add insult to my whooped butt, my roommate got locked out of his office and couldn't get his car keys. I had just left my house to bring his extra set to him, when he called and said he was able to get in...Needless to say, I didn't get to bed until after 11pm lastnight. I came home today after my interview with HR to transfer jobs and took a 2.5 hour nap...I have to be up at 4am tomorrow morning and Sunday morning..Next day off is next Thursday..

It's official, queer pool parties are my new favorite thing. We took over a swanky pool club in the hip district of the city, and there were hundreds of hot queers there. I thought I had died and gone to heaven!!

We're having a crazypants heat wave, so the pool party was a blessing, for sure!!! I can't wait for fall, though. Sure I go to the parties, but when fall comes I organize group trips to haunted houses/hayrides/corn mazes every weekend. There are TONS of awesome ones!!

The two girls I was working with, decided to become so nasty, that I started crying at my desk over a communication error on their end, that I got up and walked to the ladies room and cried. I am going to talk to my supervisor this afternoon and see what she can do for me. If she cannot help me, then I am going to HR and filing a complaint against them. I didn't speak another word to anyone yesterday, unless it was related to our job, and I did word search puzzles until the end of my shift.

I am sorry to hear that Karma isn't feeling well...It is supposed to be over 100 degrees here today with the humidity and it sucks...Ladies aren't supposed to be sweating unless your working out. They will have a lot of explaining to do when my supervisor talks to them. One of them one was cussing the guests out and kept freaking out...Makes me wonder about my security..

Good morning everyone! I have been laying a little low lately. Life has been challenging to say the least. I'm in the middle of a 12 day stretch at work. I have a bit of a break today, only having to work a few hrs. I have recovered well from my concussion and am back in the gym stronger than before. The rest of the stuff will work it's self out. I am RIMBLMAO right now!!! I am sooo sleep deprived and HATE taking meds. Well I decided tonight that I was going to take 2 Xanax and try to regulate my sleep. Well 3 1/2 hrs and I'm not sleepy. So I get up and look at my pill bottle and realize that I took not 1 but 2 of my stay awake pills lol. SMH...that is MY luck!
Maybe tonight will be better for me as I should be up all day haha

My friend's uncle installed Windows 7 Ultimate its called and My RAM went from only having 1GB to 4GB so its already running a heck of alot faster than before. Shopping hmmmm, do you need a grocery shopping partner? I need to grab a couple of things so I'll come and join you ~ I have a craving for apples, haven't had that in awhile! Whats the difference between 7 and Vista? If you install it, do you lose everything you have on your computer that you've saved?

Windows Vista is a piss poor designed computer operating system that would constantly freeze and/or crash. Windows 7 is a better operating system and more stable. If you decide to switch from Vista to 7, you will loose everything. I backed all of files, pictures and music on MSN's SkyDrive.

Windows Vista was part of the problem as to why My computer crashed this last time; that and plus I only had 1GB of RAM ~ My friend's uncle fixed My computer by installing a better operating system (Windows 7 Ultimate) and My RAM has been upped to 4GB. Its running alot smoother and now I won't get kicked off by My sister, its a great feeling to have My internet back!

I re-downloaded yahoo messenger Zimmy and I have a new nick/handle, so if you PM Me then I can send that to you :-)

I read when I get the chance. I live non-fiction, fiction and horror. One of my favorite books is, "Things Fall Apart", by Chinua Achebe. It took me about three days to read it. I also read, "Night", by Eli Wiesel. Very powerful boom.

I really don't want to go to work today; my two days off went by to fast! Atleast, I am not working with the Witches of East Wick today or for awhile. My boss decided to just seperate us instead of actually doing something about these women. If they say anything else to me, I am going to HR and have them do something about it. If I was the supervisor, assistant manager or the store manager and one of my employees came up to me and said, "hey, these two girls were doing xyz yesterday and it made me feel uncomfortable". I would have investigated the whole situation and made my decision, to either reprimand the two girls or take their happy asses down to HR. From what I am getting out of it, is that my supervisor, doesn't care and is just there to get her paycheck every week. Which is sad to say, but probably the truth. No word yet on my transfer, and I was really hoping to hear something by the end of the week.

I am having leftover chicken tenders that I cooked the other night and my day is going good. I am wearing one of my favorite parfums. It is the, Rose and Reine<Rose essential oils with an undertone of Blackberry essential oils> by L'Occitane en Provence. It is very girlie and I am taking the whole bottle to work with me tonight...I am going to make that place smell good later!

It's a one time COST to attend ALL events (Registration). There is a SLIDING Scale, pay what you can afford. This does include a Dinner on Saturday Night for the BIG GAY PROM. (this is new this year)

man I feel ya...I have 5 nephews in all no nieces,and i taught april's 2 how to drive,it was scary the first one, I had him on a dirt rd with canals on both sides what was I thinking?! *slaps forehead* we almost went in it... and it was my brand new truck :S sad thing is no matter what you taught him he has his mothers genes and still cant drive for a flip.

i did play it before the sims but havent in awhile...I dont know what game I want to play. man I would have loved to seen the cats looks at you lol I have a cat he is a trip!

It did scare me lol he has no sense of direction so he is hopeless he just barely gets from point a to point b...but his mom is the same she scares me to death...one time we were driving home from tampa and I was so tired as I drove over and didnt sleep and was driving right back so i asked her to drive for a minute and just as i drifted off to sleep she went off the rd on the grass...well i couldnt sleep after that..so I drove,but I got her back..as soon as she fell asleep this song was playing make my day I think its called one version has clint eastwood saying go ahead make my day April had her foot resting out the window kinda and I grabbed her and went AHHHHHH like we was wrecking and she jumped coz she was dreaming clint eastwood was saying make my day to her...she ended up breaking her big toe on the car side mirror :| :D not funny but it is now :)

My cat is dark grey striped with light grey and fluffy...he knows how to reach up and open the back door so I have to keep it deadbolted or else I come out in the morning and the door is wide open :| I swear lol when he wants attention he will get right on my lap top and not budge till I scratch his head.
He still is trying to figure out how to grab a door knob tho I fear he will get it one day thumbs or no :D

That would scare me to wake up and find that my back door is open. The original apartment my roommate and I lived in; people would walk up to the door and knock. If they heard something they would go to the next apartment. The day they were doing this, I was on the phone with my best butch friend in Ireland, and they knocked, which I didn't answer the door. They went to the last apartment on the left side of the hallway and kicked the door in and robbed the people. To this day, we now use our alarm and I don't answer the door.

I haven't decided what I will have for dinner, so I more than likely will eat in the employee cafeteria. I have popcorn, and cherries for snacks at work.

Your cat sounds cute! The girl I was working with lastnight, her fiancee called and said he had a surprise for her. She came back with pictures of a kitten he had picked up for her. They named her Princess in Arabic.
