I went on a date a couple years ago and it sucked!!! But since then I've been dateless, where I live there are no butches...heck there's no butches at all!!! Have I mentioned lately how much I miss Northern VA lol

Hang in there, everyone. We don't know the future, but I think I know that everyone here does their best to roll with it and make the best of what they have. I know that's my mantra. I agree with you on not knowing what the future holds and the excitement that can generate.

Every day I write an affirmation to help direct me and invoke what it is that I want. This has always helped me in the past and it starts my day off on a really upbeat note. Sure some days just suck..lol...but I work hard to turn that energy around as fast as I can.

I have a group of friends who play hydration police with me when we're out on long bike rides. If we go to an indoor bathroom there's a mandatory "clear pee" check. If your pee is clear, you are hydrated.... To clarify, we don't check each others pee, just our own. But we report to each other. :)

For two nights in a row I have actually slept at least 8 peaceful hours. It is amazing the difference this makes in every aspect of life. I enjoyed work. I enjoyed being home. For some reason everything feels a little bit lighter. I could get used to this.

Eat regularly and stay hydrated and you will feel 100% better. Your health and wellness is worth the extra effort.

How about keeping a bottle of water on your desk? Or try drinking a water and juice mixture. Or add lemon to your water. This requires some planning but the payoff is huge.

Since coffee and tea are also diuretic what I try to do is to drink as much water as I do coffee or tea. This usually works well and I test this theory out because I work in extreme heat most of the year. If I did not stay hydrated I would pass out.

Not fun. If you know you are dehydrated, grab a Gatorade G2 or Poweraide
Zero. They have some good flavors and the electrolytes will do you good.

First, glad to see you back and posting regularly...everywhere :)

I thawed out a pork steak and my plan was to broil it
Simple, easy cooking today
I'll dice up a russet and sweet potato and make smashed taters out of them
My choice for veggies in my place are slim today, I have a bag of frozen mixed veggies or whatever is in a can in my cabinet.
Honestly, I really do spend some days cooking healthy, lol
Usually cook in quantity and freeze in ziplocks for days I'm too tired to cook for just me.

Hey your dinner sounds good to me. Nothing unhealthy about it. I always keep frozen green beans and peas on hand because if I have no fresh vegetables those are my default. Your smashed taters sound fabulous..good idea to mix both.

LOL, I don't even have, what I would call a real kitchen to cook in.
I use a couple hot plates, have a convection oven, griddle, crockpot and an electric skillet.
It's always a challenge to see what I can come up with.

Bring on those fresh tortillas...actually I go to a Carniceria that also has a Panaderia. I get corn tortillas that are still warm when I bring them home.

I don't like a lot of meat on my pizza. Too salty. I love spinach and feta cheese (yeah, I know, salty).

We could always play a general knowledge kind of game.

Any, can we use recyclable plates, cutlery, etc? Can't stand it when folks use paper plates at a party then they all get thrown out afterwards.

I would buy the Double Black Diamond Extra Bold Coffee single cups like a madman, and the Cinnamon Roll coffee made a few others salivate before breakfast *lol*...my second obsession was the Celestial Season Half & Half Black tea(tea with lemonaid), I'd have a cup ready with ice, and go about my business....

Found it not a good place to be. Anyone else ever tried Sofa to meet
people. I felt that when I mentioned I like the butch fem dynamic in

Never even heard of the pink sofa....there are or seem to be a number of sites that are that way do not understand the dynamics etc.
