Cody: I should've hunted you down yesterday! I spent my afternoon rescuing a friend who had the misfortune of developing a leaky radiator on their way to visit. As hilarious as it was to see heels, tailored pants and a blouse crawling under a jeep, it wreaked havoc on my wardrobe, and I got neon green nastiness in my hair. Somehow I feel you would have had a more appropriate outfit. :)

Grrrrl, tell me about it! The car is sitting outside my house, I encouraged them to get AAA and handle it before I got home. I'm psyched you learned how to handle the battery, that's really useful skill to have! Unfortch I had an '86 Camry for a while that needed more parts than petrol in order to run, so I got really knowledgeable about car repairs. I also discovered it's possible to change a tire in heels in a blizzard!

Andy, yes it is a great skill to learn and my middle brother loves to build race cars. When I got my first Saturn, he showed me how to do an oil change on it. But yet, I don't like enclosed spaces so I take my car to my brother or stepdad to do it.

moonsoon seems to have come early here i dunno who said az is a dry heat it humid like crazy for about 6 weeks with thunder/lightning storms threwout the day. oh well least it was a beautiful 4th weekend.
im just getting up this morning(Still waiting on coffee to finish) then out tp put the new pump in.

I hyper extended it while I was training for my first fight. Being in the gym 6 days a week during that time took a huge toll on it. I have backed off to 4 days a week now, 2 of them being cardio days. It friggin needs to heal!!! My next fight is in October.

Hey Ink, try the "irenew" bracelet. It's on tv. I have arthritis in my shoulder. It worked for me and it's only $20 bucks at walmart. Hope it helps.

I am at my Mom's for this week. There are some relatives in town and stuff. Kind of cool. Got a salmon dinner at my Aunt's last night and got to see my Uncle and other Aunt. All around awesomeness except for the mosquitoes.

It's not nearly as hot in the city as it is in the Valley, geez I can't get over it.

It actually goes way back. Donut shops were the only thing open 24 hrs. The owners would provide free coffee and donuts to officers to get them to come in late at night, therefore providing free security to the store. Now lots of businesses do the same. Cheaper to hand out free drinks and snacks than hire a security company. I always made sure I extended a thank you , it really is appreciated.

Absolutely terrible night in the gym! A combination of not eating enough in the last two days and trying to push too hard. My blood sugar dropped and I fell out in the middle of working on the mitts. Now as a result..... a raging headache! I REALLY need to remember to eat!!!!!

It's a rainy day here too ..I have a lousy cold and finally got some sleep ,and feel a little better. I plan on doing some school work and just taking it easy..Anya, I know how that can be,I was in a 13 yr relationship that just ended without a word. That was 5 yrs ago more or less. I have had only one "serious" (or so I thought) relationship since then. I loved her to pieces.,but it ended as did my desires to find another on these sites. It's hard to find someone to talk to and believe now. As well as someone who's real and true. I'm an Old School Butch/Daddy and I have very strong morals and values that I live by. Which is probaly my downfall.I don't know. Anyways. I'm single again and enjoying my time with my dog and work and my beautiful Grandson*S* and my Family.. well, i guess i won't be posting in this thread much longer. i've been single for a little over 2 years and have finally found a sane one :) we met almost 2 months ago and have been talking on the phone several times and day and webcamming when i have time off but this weekend we will finally meet up in person. and yes, we met on this site. :) i'm not sure what i'll do with myself now since this is really the only thread on which i post. i'll miss you all and wish you all sucess on finding that one special person.

Obviously it depends on the ex LOL I have remained friends/acquaintances with some to different degrees; on the other hand, some I have had no interest whatsoever in keeping in touch with, and one, after 5 years together, walked out one day and just never spoke to me again. We've never spoken a single word since.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I slept in until 8:30am this morning and then had a lazy morning until I finally pushed myself to go grocery shopping. I am glad that I didn't see, Sunny's post until now. I would have cracked up laughing in the middle of Wal-Mart and had everyone looking at me.

Hope you all are having a great hump day! It is hot outside and I don't have a ceiling fan in my room anymore until Friday, when I get paid. Today is my only day off this week, I have post orientation training on Friday from 10am until 2pm, which is all overtime for me..Woohoo! I had training yesterday on one of our programs that we use, and I was having fun exploring it on my own. I discovered how to do things, that no one else knew how to do.

Have fun and I am leaving a huge bowl of Oreo's out for a snack with ice cold, Almond, Soy, Rice and regular milk for us!

My elbow is much better! Thanks for asking. I have been using the anti-inflammatory patches my ex gave me, they seem to be working. In fact it is feeling so good, I'm sparring this sunday. Also..... I just found out my best friend is coming up from NC to stay with me for week!!! Very excited!

Hi Cody! I hope you are able to go back to the gym soon. I'm sure you miss it alot. I'm glad the truck is running good, I'm guessing you're looking forward to fixing the body and interior, or are you going to let someone else do that?

afternoon/eve to everyone.. had a great doc apt. today.. some of you that know me know that i trashed my back at work a few yrears ago.. so today the doc wrote me a prescription for the gym and a personal trainner there.. now waiting to see if my health insurance is going to cover my gym/trainner that i had been paying for out of pocket..then other doc took me out of the gym cause of my back.. but now they are pushing it .. yea!! plus new doc is putting me into pain mgmnt program where ill get injections instead of pills!! finally! lol maybe ill have a brain again soon!

AWESOME! I went through something similar, had my ankle shattered in a fight taking someone into the jail. Pain management is a gift from the gods!
