Her voice is much quieter than Ivan's and not nearly as raucus, but she has found it. When I got up to go to work yesterday morning and greeted her and Ivan, as I usually do, Myra quickly scrambled up to the top of the waterfall and began to show Dad her singing voice!!! She went for about 10 seconds, getting her entire body into the performance, then stopped and looked at me with those big black eyes, as if to say, "There. See?? I can sing like Ivan!!". :D

The kindness of a stranger. I met somebody today through someone else here and he offered to send ibuprofen to hold me over until I can see a doc on the 5th. I don't have a car, (i lost my truck because i got so sick and couldn't work). The clinic closest to me doesn't take my insurance. I have a lot of pain in my shoulder now but how cool that a stranger would extend themselves. I'll be sure to pay it forward. Meantime, I'll do ice and heat and ibuprofen and see if I can keep it mobile so I don't get frozen shoulder.

went to see my surgeon today for post op. He was very happy with how well I am healing. I got the go ahead to add foods slowly. So of course I went and got a salad and a piece of raspberry pie! LOL. Oh, and I only lost 12 lbs but he said it seems like more because my whole trunk was swollen with how inflammed my esophagus is. I will be out of breath until the lung re inflates...he seems to think it will. I dunno. I trust him but that sounds odd. But anyways, I am doing good and that put a huge smile on my raspberry pie face!

~ Tomorrow's doctor's appointment and the possibility of starting T

My Beauhunk frantically writing material for a surprise class he's teaching tomorrow (and found out about this afternoon). Intensity.

Yep,,it was frantically intense but I pulled it off with flying colors! I think in my spare time (ha, ha, ha) I'll re-write the materials and include the OSHA 30 hour class; that way, when they spring teaching that one on me, I'll be ready for them! Thanks love for helping me get that evaluation form together,,it was perfect!

A few things actually...

~I had a very in-depth, emotional counseling session with a client last night. She was able to finally sleep thru the night, and upon waking she came into my office to give me a hug and thank me for taking the time to actually "listen" to her. That's what makes my job worthwhile...

~My boss told me she is happy to come in to work when I'm there because she knows things will be under control, that she appreciates the person I am and the job I do, and that she is thankful I am part of her team. Awesome, cause she's an amazing lady...

~My parents were able to go to the Apple Festival today, after thinking they weren't going to be able to make it this year.

~Today's anticipation of tomorrow's excitement of all the weekend plans my darlin' and I have...Yay!!!!

Its late and I have taken some pain meds (picked up something too heavy today) and I cant recall if I mentioned I have taken in two heterosexual 20 somethings, one of them a former 4Her of mine, her mom also being my friend.
