Knowing I have a pretty kick ass life in london. I always realize this after I spend time with my family in the states. Oh and the smile on my face gets bigger and bigger knowing I wont have to deal with my brother in law for another year or maybe even longer. Not nice having your sister tell you on the day you are leaving, that your bother in law did not like it that you were staying with them for a month because it messed with his daily routine! We went to a wedding today. It was for my son's fiancee's dad who is a long time friend of Ethan. The wedding was held in a beautiful little plantation, and it was the shortest ceremony i have ever seen, but it was really nice. After the ceremony we went to the reception where there was good food and good fellowship. They had the Bride's and Groom's first dance, then the Bride danced with her Dad. She is a lil petite thing, and when she danced with her dad, she kicked her shoes off and climbed upon his feet as they danced. i thought that was precious. There was the other normal festivities and cake cutting and stuff buttttt
The biggest thing that put a smile on my face was.. during an open slow dance, Ethan took my hand and led me to a spot while in his wheel chair, stood up and grabbed ahold of me, and we danced. We danced for most of the song before he had to sit down. but.. we.. danced! First time in public.

i currently have a huge smile on my face because my kitten came home today! he was gone for exactly 24 hours! I left food out this afternoon and my roomie knocked on my door to tell me they saw him on our porch. I found out I got the position at the Nina Haggerty Centre.
It is a volunteer position where I work with the Artists, I will be there every Wednesday, at least through the summer.
The Nina Haggery Centre is an Art Centre for Artists with developmental disabilities, they do amazing work there and I am so excited to be a part of it. I think I may actually learn more from them then they do from me.

I saw a moose! Not only did I SEE him...I damn near hit him :| It was a young bull. He darted out on his million mile legs....I beeped the horn and swerved...He darted back to the woods...but he was sooo gangly and awkward..it took a while. I was SO close to him, I heard his hooves on the pavement.

He had horns! I've always wanted to see a bull moose! It was an amazing moment I will always treasure.... :)

My two BFF's got married today. I stood up as best man, or best person, or witness as many called it.

kaijiara and I attended their beautiful wedding ceremony, attended by friends and family, and neighbors.

We enjoyed the afterglow of love from all those that toasted in celebration to love, to equality and to the commitment of sharing the passion for life. An afternoon of fun, fantastic food, and opening the gifts of crystal bowls, candel holders, and the obligatory toaster:)

I realized that these are the last 3 days money will be tight for me. I finally caught up financially after the move and losing a job due to being trans (confirmed) drained my bank account. *huge sigh of relief*

The past month and a half I went from having almost $1000 a month of disposable income to not being able to afford food. It will be good to be able to eat daily again.

Its actually what made me smile yesterday. I have been working overnight's the last few nights. Yesterday afternoon I fell asleep watching Shrek with the kitten, Burton. I woke up briefly and saw that he had rolled over into my arm and on his back, with his paws stretched as far above his head as they could go. It was the most adorable thing I have ever seen. I was going to snap a picture, but my eyelids were too heavy :)

Got the o.k. from Uncle Puppy Daddy to give notice at work. I am crying from relief. I hate the drive - driving 25 minutes to hour (depending on the traffic) for $10 an hour bites. I have no flexibility as far as a steady schedule, days off, crap I can't even leave to take lunch. Pus I get treated poorly by the uppity-ups just because I asked to see their i.d., and I guess it's just too d*mn much to ask for "because they are late for a meeting, can't I just let them in??" Oh really. I have been so incredibily stressed the smuck out I just burst into tears when he said yes.

So tomorrow I get to go in and tell everyone I give notice. And really, it's not my co-workers. Shoot, they were just starting to treat me like one of the gang. It's the drive and the clientel.

:) my knee replacement surgery got bumped up to this Monday and although ill be on crutches , my wife and I will still get to go on our Baltimore inner harbor trip in 3 weeks !!!! This makes us very very very happy

I have a friend staying with me from out of town and I decided to take her to the Dinosaur Museum which is an hour away. We get there and go into the gift shop FIRST, where she and I bought many little trinkets. She saw the sign for the admission into the actual exhibit and kinda made a face. The little old lady who was ringing up our purchase looked right at her and said, "Hey..If you don't want to pay to go in there and see THOSE dinosaurs, you can look at me all you want.. it's free."

a friend of mine had a stroke many months ago.has been transferred all over northern calif to hospitals.half of her skull is not on but she looks great. she was transferred to a rehab in Yuba City where her husband and her kids live.lots of other family live in the vicinity many church friends as well people stop by and feed her as she is still having trouble swallowing she is not able to walk but is improving everyday..today someone said they thought she was ready to play on her facebook account as she flips thru everyone else's when she gets a chance..anywho tonight I logged on to my fb and she has been on her account
just awesome to see her improve so much since she has been close to home everyone's hard work with her is paying off! shoot let alone all the hard work she is doing herself.
soon someday she will be able to walk,talk,& feed herself oh and be able to care for her babies again..
life is amazing when you don't give up <3
