Not too horrible interview turned into a not so horrible job offer..
I'm pretty sure my boss at the temp agency didn't send anyone else..

Grin... while once upon a time I would have HATED the fact that I didn't beat out two hundred other people for a job, now? ehh I'm rather glad for the lack of competition...

I'm pretty happy... It's a small job with a small company with the possiblitity of more responsibility down the line.. Just what I need...

My hour-long massage this morning (bliss), even though it is deep tissue and it hurts sometimes. I am weirdly high for hours afterward. I'm addicted to it and booked it for once a week!

Ordering a new bike. Even though I can no longer mountain bike, I can still ride on the local trail through my community, which is a combination of paved and boardwalk. Supporting a small business/local shop owner, too, who spent a huge amount of time with me talking about bikes. Pinky is a Bichon Frise who will be entering the 'terrible twos' Sept. 14.She was just under 10 lbs. last time we went to the vet, but my monkey is getting chubby-wubby, just like her mommy, lol. She's a picky eater - I only feed her chicken, veal, steak, organic ground beef, veggies & a few fruits she likes. I try giving her supplements, but she won't touch anything I put it in, so I am concerned about her health. She loves plain yogurt, so that's a good source of calcium. I cook everything for her, and don't mind a bit - she's my love. She is spoiled rotten, and I think she knows it. She OWNS me, my little alpha baby! lol

Sorry for the long post, folks, but when it comes to my baby, I can go on and on and on and on...lol

Confirmed my appointment with our chaplain for this Friday morning..This is my one-on-one pre-martial counseling with her, and then we both can go back to visiting her for our wedding planning! She said she has some good ideas and I am SO looking forward to hearing them!

Have enough money set aside to finish paying this semester off..Very glad I have been able to receive financial aid for most of it and can do it sans student loan.

Amazon allowed me to trade in my textbooks and gave me credit, so I was able to purchase my book for history class and have enough left over to help with next semester! :)

aww APG! See I TOLD you it would happen...someone told me not long ago.."that I needed to get my apt. all set up, unpack boxes, and make it inviting...that that would send the positive energy out..and THE ONE who was supposed to enter my world would...I didn't put much stock in to that..BUT you know what...I did..and she did! We had known each other for several months..and it took those above actions and both our worlds exploding at the same time..and the stars and the moon and destiny and fate...crossed us..again..and this time we are in it for the forever...so...while I have walked a path of getting my house in order, I also walked a BIGGER path of BELIEVING! and I got "my house in order"..and she came in. One of my tarotscopes pretty much told me same thing..and joy found us!!
Sorry, I am just so running over with ecstatic joy and happiness now...it just flows like a river..so Congratulations!! Isn;t it fun to melt...grin
