My 13 yr old nephew received a letter in the mail "inviting" him to try out for the MN Mavericks AAA Hockey Team. Consisting of Iowa and Southern MN boys. They invite 25 players to try out for the team and take 20 of those 25 players.

I went out to a customer's car today to check his engine codes. He was a fairly older gentleman, very kind, good energy from him. So I have to engage the key into the auxillary position and the radio comes on. Blaring. A great dance song on our local pop station. As I'm entering his car's info on the code reader, I say, "great choice of music." And I proceed to start dancing. He's like... "Um it's my daughters car... um I barely heard it...." I'm talking cranked the f up. I shake my head and say, "you're so busted man!!!!!!!" We laugh and I dance some more.

Finally getting a letter from my ex and close friend who went to jail on the 6th. He's an alcoholic (the reason we broke up) and got his third DUI in November so he's serving 2-3 months. I've been worried sick this past fortnight. (as is literally sick: hives, vertigo, insomnia, nausea) What if he had been placed in mens jail or if he'd gotten sick or if he couldn't get his testosterone or if he didn't show up on his intake date at all?

As it turns out, he's in a separate medical unit because the judge didn't want to put him in mens jail. And he wasn't able to write me because he didn't have access to money for stamps. Ironically I had sent him stamps in the first letter I wrote him 2 weeks ago but they were sent back to me in an envelope stamped "return to sender, unacceptable jail material". Now he's been able to access his money and buy stamps so we should be in regular contact.

I'm so relieved. I was shaking and crying with happiness as I read his letter. Thank goodness he's safe. :olive:

Watching my blood granddaughter being so happy child , she it's 10 months old and happy child no matter what . I am glad her parents my son and my daughter in law are so nurturing . I am speaking to her in two different languages , not in English since her parents speak to her in English .

From my experience with my son when he was six years old he spoke three languages , now days he speaks southern. I am amazed she does understand me and responds to me at her age whatever I say . I will keep it up with her and when she tries to speak to me in English I will not respond . Not , because I am against for her to speak English , but she has a parents they communicate in English . She needs to be multilingual for her own good .

In September I had my entire abdomen rebuilt due to damage from an emergency surgery the year before. Think tummy tuck on a grand scale. So, I haven't been able to wear my beloved Baby Phats or Zani D's since.

Now and then I have tried but it has hurt the incision line so much, I have to get them off in an hour.

Today, I'm on my 6th hour of the jeans and having no problems whatsoever!!!!


Heart be still. I'll have to try a belt next. :)

PS I may boycott yoga pants for months.
