I have been riding my bicycle to the gym every day and today I just started laughing as I was jumping the curbs and applying my breaks in a skid kind of motion. Life is interesting, when I was a kid I wanted to be so grownup, now that I am grownup, it sure feels nice to play like a kid. Yesterday did...Clay sent me some of the sweetest, loving and most beautiful texts during my drive home...while crossing the final bridge before getting home i saw a single dolphin in the water below...the warm loving welcome from my Beloved and that certain weiner dog before venturing out...

Clay & i had the yummiest lunch then went to watch for dolphins...we saw a small pod of 3 that was fishing and frolicking for a good while...i even managed to get a pic of two of them! Well their dorsal fins breaking the water...but a pic just the same!

After we finally escaped from the automotive dept at WalMart we had the most delicious Greek food i've ever had!!

Just before dinner Clay made me cry...but in a very good way...i just love my SSBP!

It was a perfect and wonderful day spent on OUR island with the Love of my life! :love1:

The skinny little black stray who still looks like a kitten herself has had three little ones in my kayak. SO CUTE they look maybe three weeks old. She is wild and now have to figure out how to cach her and get her fixed, then catch the little ones...I do wish my neighbors would get theirs fixed as there are a lot of strays in the neighborhood and they originate from their house. Would not be so bad if they would take care of them, but they are all skinny and wild. Makes me mad/sad.

Those babies, I mean teens, at the shelter made me smile today!!

It's apparent that it's not the actual food that's prepared but the idea that they have adults in their life that care about their well-being and legitimately, them.

Grilled cheese and tomato soup is really not that difficult to make but the thanks and praise was as if I had fixed them a seven course gourmet meal... :heartbeat: :)

So I finally got a kayak today. I wanted to get one that both me and the 6'6" Boy could use. So it's a 12' bohemoth. So in trying to find somewhere to put it in our tiny <600sqft apartment wasn't easy. It's currently shoved between my bed and the wall blocking my A/C. :| So I have this convo with the ex via text:

Me: I think im going 2 get rid of my bed. Realistically I can sleep on the sofa just as well.
Her: Dork. Just get a smaller bed.
Her: Put a lid on it and become the vampire you've always wanted to be!

this might make you all cry but here it goes . the thing that made me smile today was recieving the VERY last picture of my dad's mom my grandmother that was taken 15 years ago 2 months before she passed . i have a copy of the picture but didnt realize my mom had the original . mom gave me a whole stack of pictures that this picture was hiding in . im a sentimental person i cherish the last picture i get of the people i love . my dad's mom was an amazing woman and now i can give my dad the gift of never forgetting her im going to have the picture blown up and give it to dad later this year for his birthday . but to have it means more then words can explain .

My 19 month old nephew and his "chicken dance". He does this dance every morning in the bathroom while I'm doing my hair and makeup. He'll hunch over, stick his arms straight out behind his back and run in circles until he's laughing so hard that he topples over. Which has taught me that putting on lipstick while laughing hysterically is a bad idea...unless your goal is to wear your lipstick as a nose ring.

My customers always make me smile. From the cute little old Ladies who like to bake and sometimes leave me treats in the mailbox to the the family's with children who like to try to scare me which cracks me up. Most times I scare them. Also animals which includes, dogs, cats, birds and a few squirrels who I gave names to. This is what makes my day and makes me appreciate my job. they become a second family to me. Or maybe I'm just strange. Lol:)

The night is still semi early and My day has been near perfect so maybe there are still smiles left out there for Me today.

- waking up, hearing the birds singing in the trees, feeling the fresh air blowing in & whispering the words Good Morning Daddy with my hand on the commitment around my neck from Him, before climbing out of bed like i always do..

- Going for a run at the Nature Park today, and completing 6km, almost half of which was running.. New personal best, for only being day 3.. When i want something, i go for it.. *that* feels so awesome!

- Agreeing to do my very first 5k on July 1st - i'm excited! Small steps to my dream goal of running a Marathon!

- The growing success of the Weight Loss Support Group i started at work.. The material i share, the positive feedback i am getting and the motivation i get from it as well as the others. All of our plans, and the support & encouragement - i love it... Very proud of them all!

- leaving sticky notes with positive messages on some random lockers today & making them smile, i love the feeling within that i get when i see some approach their locker, read the message & smile big. i can tell it's made a difference in their day, and it, in turn, makes my heart smile.

- Plans, plans, PLANS to go see Daddy, SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON :flying:
