The main difference is that Bill Clinton's philandering was consensual and that he did not condone violence against women and he certainly did not brag about it.

That doesn't make it right, but it is different.]

Also Bill faced consequences.

It was too late in his career to hurt him (he had already been elected twice), and impeachment failed, but he was held accountable.

Trump was not held accountable and was ultimately rewarded for what he did.

Electing someone AFTER they brag about it is different than electing the spouse of someone who was caught and put on trial and then publicly apologized.

How a Mexican Janitor Invented Flamin' Hot Cheetos

The Frito-Lay janitor is now an executive vice president at PepsiCo, all because of a spicy snack.

Richard Montañez was born in Mexico and grew up in Guasti, a small town close to Ontario, California, picking grapes with this family. They would have dinner at the communal table in the kitchen they shared with six other families.

As a child, Richard had no idea that he was poor. "No one ever taught me what was on the other side of the tracks," he says. And on his side of the tracks, the aspirations weren't very high: Most of the kids he knew hoped to get a job at the town's factory.

Richard had trouble learning English and he dropped out of high school because he couldn't understand the teachers. Without a high school diploma, he got a job as a janitor at the Frito-Lay Rancho Cucamonga plant in California.

Richard came from humble beginnings and had modest ambitions ("No disrespect to anyone, but my dream was to drive the trash truck") but that all changed when someone told him he could have bigger dreams. The president of the company sent a video message to his employees and "he told us to act like an owner," says Richard. "I looked around and didn't see a lot of reaction from my co-workers, but for me it was the opportunity to do something different. "

One day, a machine broke in the assembly line, causing some Cheetos to not get dusted with the bright orange cheese powder, so Richard took some home and put chili powder on them. He created his own recipe for a spicier version of Cheetos that was inspired by a Mexican street snack called elote (corncob).

"I see the corn man adding butter, cheese, and chili to the corn and thought, what if I add chili to a Cheeto?" Richard remembers. His family, friends, and co-workers all loved the new creation and they encouraged him to tell the plant supervisors about it. Richard called the president and talked the secretary into putting his call through. Richard told him that he had an idea for a new product and he got a chance to give a demonstration.

"I had two weeks to prepare a presentation to company executives," says Richard. He had never given a presentation before and knew nothing about marketing, so he and his wife went to the public library and copied a strategy from one of the business books. He bought a $3 tie, his first ever. (A neighbor helped him tie it.) He put the Cheetos in sample bags that he designed himself and he went to the meeting.

The company executives loved his idea and the Flamin' hot line of products was born, including Flamin' Hot Cheetos, which is Frito-Lay's top selling snack. Today, Richard is the executive vice president of multicultural sales and community activation for PepsiCo's North American divisions. He also helped influence Hispanic products and marketing promotions for KFC and Taco Bell.

"Latinos who have made it like myself have a responsibility to open doors to younger generations and teach them that they can do it," says Richard, who provides college scholarships to young Latinos. He also gives back to the community through food, clothing, school supplies, and other services. "I do it because I can and I know what it is to be hungry."

While at the craft store, I had a strange little gentleman come up to me and begin a conversation about spring and then he quickly moved on to telling me his age (73) and that he walked 4 miles, each way, to go to our local Barnes & Noble back in July. He was very proud of that.

I took my petite almost 3 year old grand daughter to a birthday party held at a Bounce Around. They had several bouncy play areas and she ran from one to the other all night long. How does a wee one have so much energy and ability? God gave the babies to the young for a good reason! This grannie is VERY tired tonight but I have a huge smile on my face from the memories of watching this brave little girl climb the highest slide! She has no fear! Nothing in her to tell her to stop, she cant do it. She plowed thru bigger kids to get her turn and engaged and laughed and danced and ran all night long. I LOVE being a grandma!

I have a presentation to give tomorrow evening which requires the use of visual aids. I was having the worst time trying to actually sit down and write it until I decided to just focus on the visual portion first and develop the talk around whatever that inspired.

So, I smiled and laughed all day long while I made it and just wrote the speech now. It's just absolutely ridiculous, but it supports the discussion and will be somuch more interesting than just droning on with my laser pointer and slides.

Asking my son what the car did when it died and then telling him what is wrong with the car. He said "how do you know all that?" I explained to him that I have lived a long life and part of it was spent in the business of automotive repair. Now I am coaching him on dialog with the dealership. It is so nice to help my family.

I got up around 4:00 a.m. this morning which is a little bit earlier than usual. First thing, I always put on my headlight, get the flashlight, then wake Jennifer and Kevin to go out to pee.

On the inside, I was laughing to myself so hard at Kevin. He is so precious to me. They both are very precious to me. Anyway, Kevie was doing his best to get up and go ... while I was leashing him, he was yawning a lot, had a dazed look on his face and trying so hard to wake up but not there yet ... then he toppled over and farted which woke him up and put an enormous "surprised look" on his face. He lay there blinking his eyes, looking all around as though confused about what just happened to him and how he got there. Sure wish I had had the video rolling!

A spark plug.

My dad passed away about 15 years ago and I have all his tools. He always bought three of everything. In his tool box are all these spark plugs from his passed lawnmowers. I have often wondered what to do with them. Today I changed the spark plug in my walking mower and thought what are the chances that one of dad's spark plugs would be the one I need. So the first one that I picked up had the correct part number and fit perfectly.

Gay teacher Nikos Giannopoulos’ displayed his LGBTQ pride as he sported a rainbow pin and clutched a lacy fan in an official photo with President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump. And now the Rhode Island teacher of the year’s bold stand for LGBTQ rights has gotten global attention after the image went viral on Facebook.

Giannopoulos, who teaches 11th and 12th graders at Beacon Charter High School for the Arts in Woonsocket, visited the White House with other teacher of the year winners in April. He received the photo of his moment with Trump this week and immediately posted it to Facebook.

Though Trump has previously pledged to protect LGBTQ citizens, but members of the community have expressed concern that his administration is rolling back their civil rights in areas such as education.

Giannopoulos said he wore the pin “to represent my gratitude for the LGBTQ community that has taught me to be proud, bold, and empowered by my identity — even when circumstances make that difficult.” He brought the fan that day to “celebrate the joy and freedom of gender nonconformity.”

I had it out with a friend today regarding this very picture, she said "why can't he just be Teacher of the Year, and not throw the gay in there."

My response?

Because some bullied child with flamboyant mannerisms might see that and realize that it does get better. Maybe it will result in one less child killing themselves.

Saw something tiny in front of a cow who was lying down...did a uturn & went back....was a baby calf..ears were twitching...mama was cleaning the baby up who had just been born.
