Ok, why has it taken me this long to discover the IE Tab app in Google Chrome? I really like Google Chrome (GC) and do not like IE. But I have to also open IE for those applications that are only supported by IE. So time is wasted moving between GC and IE windows.

No More!! Hip! Hip! Hooray! Just added the IE Tab (from Blackfish Software) and now I can do everything from Google Chrome. No more multiple browsers! Yes! Imported bookmarks from IE. Select what I want, hit the IE "button" and whahlah! The application supported only by IE is running inside of Google Chrome. What is hilarious is these apps run faster inside GC than when opened in IE.

I am a happy man! It indeed the little things.

Just learned how to make it so that you don't have to hit the IE button each time you click an IE link. It will automatically open "in" IE.

Still grieving the loss of my beautiful Great Dane, Molly...but a strange thing happened. I always said that once she was gone, I probably wouldn't get another Dane...just because they have such short lifespans...and their loss is heartbreaking. But...last week, I was looking through the rescues on Petfinder..and I happened to click on the Great Dane rescues. There were some beautiful dogs there...but halfway down the page, I found a rescued pit bull that is currently up for adoption. GHD and I are very partial to the pibbles...they are so misunderstood and vilified as a breed, and there are SO many of them in the shelters and rescues. I thought it was so odd to find one mistakenly posted on the Great Dane page. We called and found out that he was still available. This weekend we will be having a "meet and greet" with our dogs...and if they all get along, he will possibly become a new member of our family. Fate? Maybe so.

Whoops.

The 6 o’clock morning news at WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh reported yesterday that Hines Ward signed with the Baltimore Ravens.

Their source?

A BroCouncil.com spoof report that featured a photoshopped image of Ward in a purple Baltimore Ravens jersey and this awesome fake quote:

“Team president Art Rooney II didn’t have much to say after hearing the news, but he did say that he was sad to see him go to the Ravens and that ‘Pittsburgh Steeler football may not be the same without him, but his smile was pretty creepy anyway.’”


“We’re a little in shock,” morning anchor Todd McDermott said in the video below when they announced the “news.”

It wouldn't be exactly like a c-section..but hey, why should we have all the fun? The men not chosen would just have to have their balls squeezed in a vise for the approximate time the average woman is in labor. And finally...all the men would then be given an infant they would be required to adopt.

That's my platform...vote always2late 2012!

Isn't it great to see so many interpretations. To me it means that, based on the law of attraction, if you focus on what's wrong, you will get more of the same but if you send out positive thoughts and energy you will get good stuff back.

In summer, the trees will provide shade and filter the city’s dust; in winter, sunlight will shrine through the bare branches. 1. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.

2. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again.

13. I would rather try to carry 10 over-loaded plastic bags in each hand than take 2 trips to bring my groceries in.

14. How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear or understand a word they said?

15. There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

16. Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty, and you can wear them forever.
