J made me, I don't even know what it's called, some sort of light fish with some sort of spicy avocado sauce over it. Which sounded horrible but was actually very good. Milk to drink to cut the heat and a couple of bites of tomorrow's dinner. I don't know what meat I'd never had it before, with some sort of seasonings I couldn't recognize. So I guess what I had for dinner tonight was a mystery. Well except dessert. I had a mix of fresh blackberries and blueberries with whipping cream poured over. I also had some coffee with whipping cream in place of ½ and ½ too. Awhile back when my son took me to breakfast I liked their coffee so much he bought me some of their roast to take home. It smelled good but didn't taste quite right so the next time I made it a little different, it was better but still not quite right. Well once I ran out of half and half but had some whipping cream on hand, used that and bingo! Now that I know the secret I very well just gain back the additional couple few pounds I've recently lost. The store bought berries themselves were the best, I'm tempted to say ever had, but I can't remember that for a fact so I'll just say in quite awhile and leave it at that.

Canadian Bacon and pineapple pizza, double everything. I don't know why they even call it Canadian bacon pizza, I never saw pizza anything in any of my trips there. Now Nanaimo bars that's a different story, they're everywhere. I don't think you could truly be Canadian if you haven't tried one. Not even if you were born and raised there and have lived there there all your life. Everyone makes them a little different and I've never had a bad one so I guess it's just each is good in its own unique way. Now days you'll find them all over the place, especially in Seattle. Though I'd say in Seattle they deserve an E for effort, really to earn an A+ you've got to go driving up through Canada. Anyway back to topic – pizza, coffee and the last of the berries with some cream for dessert, but I'm still hungry. Carbs will do it you, every time.

The pasta sauce from Sprouts is really good for a sauce in a jar. This time, I got the chunky spicy version.

I have a lot of prawns in the freezer so I'm thinking I'll stir fry some and put them, along with some bell pepper and pineapple, in sweet chili sauce to serve over Jasmine rice. Orange tea. My Love brought home chilled, gourmet salads from the health food store. We are sharing one salad because one salad is too much for either of us to eat.

The type of chilled salad is called, Chipolte Chile Tempeh and Brown Rice Bowl.

It comes with it's own sauce, which is mildly zesty.

We love this type of salad. There is about half a cup of cooked brown rice on the bottom; then on top of the rice is a collection of corn kernels, black beans, chopped green onions, carrots and tomatoes. The Tempeh is smokey flavored and compliments the entire salad.

Water to drink, maybe a cup of herbal tea after dinner.

No dessert tonight but maybe a small, freshly baked oatmeal cookie (with raisins) might be our late evening treat.
