Hahahaha! Or peas died with tea for mummy poo or carrot shreds for noses....hey, winter's coming after all. Let us know what you chose. Sounds like a fun time.
That's it. Next year you should come over for Halloween dinner. I'll make my "blood and guts stew" (pearl onions=eyeballs- baby carrots= fingers- veggie sausages= intestines- stewed tomatoes= blood- cauliflower= brains- sliced mushrooms = ears. )
It ended up just being mummies and pumpkin soup. I didn't get home from work until about 8pm and that was enough. We painted pumpkins and ate our food and watched nightmare before christmas.

I just noticed that I said 'died' instead of 'dyed'. lol Appropriate typo!
Now, that's one heckuva stew.

Last night, it was soup for me. Kale and chourico with shredded Mexican blend cheese on top.

Last night, I treated myself to dinner at an Mexican owned restaurant. I ordered "Torta." What it is, is pork meat roasted with bay leaves, which they way they roast it, is really delicious.
I couldn't eat the bread, but roasted meat is piled high on the bread, then salad lettuces, mild green sauce, onions, mild salsa, guacamole, and their kind of sour cream.
I have a raging headache this morning from ingesting that tiny bit of dairy product, but I didn't think quick enough to tell the chef to not put it on. But the dinner was simply delicious. : )

Publix's holiday sub...Turkey Breast, Smoked Gruyere Cheese, Bacon, and Cranberry Orange Relish. Sounds good right? Well, let's just say it's not something I would want to have to eat very often. I knew I should have stuck with the roast beef, but I am just not a fan of deli meat in general.
Oh and thank you Georgia Ma'am for the pumpkin pop tart cravings...I don't even like pumpkin! Lol! I was saved from buying them because they have sprinkles on them which I really dislike. I did however see a box of the chocolate caramel ones land in my cart somehow, so I felt obligated to pay for them. :)

Last night I stopped at a favorite neighborhood McMenamins Bar and Grill to have a burger and fries and a small serving of dark red wine. It was lovely, sitting outside, relaxing and watching evening activities ....
Tonight, I don't know what I will have for supper. It's been a very busy week at work and I'm ready to just do nothing but rest, sleep, read a good book, and maybe I might just roast some vegetables or a small squash and call it good.

GeorgiaMa'am, what is Bibimbap?
It's a Korean dish. It's sort of like a salad (mine had lettuce, egg, bean sprouts, shredded purple cabbage, carrots and cucumber), with warm rice and shredded seasoned chicken on top, and a dressing of sesame oil and spicy-sweet gochujang pepper sauce. You mix it all up together, and it's delicious!
I am lucky enough to have a sandwich shop in my office building where they make it every Thursday. I often bring it home for dinner.

Omelet, little on the crunchy side - one of my resolutions for 2017 will be no meals or snacks cooked away from home for one full year. Knowing how difficult it will be, I'm starting to work on it now so, hopefully things won’t be so rough come January. I can already see to pull this off, I’m going to have to spend a lot more time carefully budgeting, planning, shopping for ingredients - cooking and cleaning up than I’m used to.

I read about them on a low carb blog and got a bag at Costco.
Product Description
"The perfect snack food, Whisps are made from just one wholesome ingredient. Cello's award-winning copper kettle parmesan cheese is baked into a flavorful, airy, crispy, wispy bite. An excellent source of protein and calcium, Wisps give you a feel-good, real food snacking experience without the guilt. easygoingfemme, this is almost exactly the same recipe we used to talk about* when I lived 'down home', except it's missing one thing: our recipe called for a cowboy hat.
1. You drink the tea mixed with the cider and honey.
2. You drink a shot of whiskey.
3. You put the cowboy hat on a bedpost.
4. You drink another shot of whiskey.
5. You move the cowboy hat to the other bedpost.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you pass out. When you wake up - you'll be well!

I love this forum thread. All the ways we feed ourselves scrumptious foods. I woke up in pain and while waiting for my RN to bring my pain killers, I decided that nothing could make me happier than going home, being in my own kitchen, dreaming up some type of brand new breakfast or lunch or same old supper, lol.
What I want is bacon perfectly burned, yet crispy with no scorch marks, two small pancakes with butter and syrup, fresh squeezed orange juice, and a cup of steaming non-dairy hot chocolate.
But I've got a massive head cold that I hope doesn't end up in my lungs, so I just asked the RN if I could have nothing but bowls of chicken soup for Sunday --- all day long.
I wanna go home. I miss my kitchen.

So I ordered a pizza from a local pizza shoppe down the road and also ordered chicken balls in BBQ sauce.
We only had one piece of pizza (meat lovers combo with tons of olives, bell peppers and sweet onion --- half side of pizza had marinara sauce, other half was creamy garlic sauce ).

I've been grazing. I had a small veggie wrap around 4pm, a cup of soup around 7pm, and a cup of cottage cheese at 9pm. Think I'm done.

My grandmother sent me chow mein noodles from fallriver. Anyone from MA understands just how special these things are...they aren't those soggy noodles like every place else..these are crunchy bits of joy. Anyway, I made a vegan chow mein gravy with veggies to go ontop. Yup good stuff

Spinach sauteed with minced garlic and topped with a couple of over easy fried eggs. Sooo good!
